SKZ - STRAY KIDS (VIDEO)

I JUST noticed that at the very end Bangchan was the first to grab a mic, but he was the last to go onstage letting the kids go first 😭

hearing the crowd singing it must have been so amazing for them!

It's me who mentioned the 0325 song, and yes, it’s about the drumbeat style, not about the reference. For this album, my favorite songs are Stray Kids and Runners. “Runners” evoked the imagination of their journey with genius music elements and arrangement, while “Stray Kids” pulled tears out of my heart. I love this MV so much. I’ve spent 2-3 years analyzing each MV from the start, and this is the conclusion of the whole journey. The ending is gonna make me cry. So proud of them.

Sooo skz performed festival version at lollapalooza so it could be really fun to listen to the song and then the live performance???

For me, as it was with the other SKZ albums, when I hear the album for the first time, I have one or two songs that I like best, something like the reactions the members have when first hearing a song and immediately know, that this should be the title song. But after hearing the album several times, I start to love each and every song! My SKZ playlist is not a 'best of', as usually with other bands, but all albums complete with all songs (in chronological order newest to oldest...)! There is no way I pick one song above the others also in this album. And I like the fact, that when you first approach Stray Kids and their music, you first encounter the strong, hard, heavy side, in each album as well as overall (everybody tells you to listen to God's Menu etc. at first, because it is so special....). But then, when you get deeper into their music or into an album, you get to know the more intimate side of them, more soft, delicate, thoughtful songs. And in the same way, you first just respect them for their music and talent, but then you move on to not being able not to love them for the persons and the personalities they are. Then you realize, how much more strength they show by revealing their innermost fears and struggles, their vulnerabilities, their honesty and softness and love, than by the strong, boastering songs. I just love them...

You describe it so well. Not only was this their journey, but this was their journey with STAY. Those STAY in deep know what they went through to get to where they are, regardless of where someone someone is in their journey with them. You can't help but be moved. Edit; my favorite track is JJAM purely because I'm SO excited to see it live. I need that DanceRacha member dance break! Surpringly, "I Like It" is also way up there in just terms of replayability. "Twilight" is my go-to, let me unwind song. It's just such a gem. I even sent it to my mother who isn't into KPop but does love jazz. (she's really enjoying the NMIXX I'm sending her way though lol)

Tristana Keauna

They apparently opened Lollapalooza with this track, I can't wait to watch it!!

@3:50 on your video - the word "Hell" from this video (as well as the original Hellevator video) has been replaced with just an "H." Fan lore says the "H" now stands for "Haven." "Haven" is the song SKZ often sing at the end of their concerts, and it's a crowd favorite.

this song was for Stray Kids and for Stay, having been with them for 5 1/2 years now, it means so much to me. And all the references from their journey up to now. Such a perfect song, and it made me very emotional. The 3:25 STAY are referencing is the fact that the video is 3:25 long, and 3/25 is there debut date. They have that in LOTS of their videos. And yeah, so many references: District 9, Hellevator, Blueprint, Miroh, Mixtape: Time out, and on and on. I really loved this song and the video made it that much better.

The moment when Lee Know stands in the elevator alone looking up and there's this ghostly afterimage of the other members briefly, and the ending when they reach the Haven/Heaven and you can hear the crowd cheering were my favourite moments from the mv. I've only been with Skz for three years but after watching the survival show and all of their content and following their musical journey retrospectively, this song and the mv are just so powerful and so emotional because after everything they went through they made it and I feel so privilege to be on this journey with them even if it wasn't right from the start

Coco Nies

Mmm, I can’t help but get emotional listening to this song. I cannot imagine how hard it hits Stays who have been with them since the beginning, if it makes me feel like this after only two years. I’m so glad that when I found them I was able to go back and listen to and (try to) understand their music. Still, I appreciate your deeper understanding of not only the Korean language but the musical intent that I could never catch if it wasn’t for Handsome Sausages. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Ahhh this song!!! This album is so perfect, the only bad thing is that it ends 🥲 Did you guys catch at the end, when they leave the elevator on top is written "Heaven", they went from Hell to Heaven.. I saw a few theories and some Stays are saying that they presenting and doing concerts to their fans is their Heaven/Safe Space.. Well there's a lot of meaning in this video and lyrics.. My favorite part besides the "step out" part is " We still astray... We always stay on the Lonely Street.." don't know why but it got me every time 😭

Lari

Same 😂

This song makes me so emotional, in such an annoying way. I want to play it for my non-stay friends and family, cause it means so much, but none of them understand! It is so clearly aimed at stay, and hits so directly! I also genuinely didn't believe felix started this, I thought it was seungmin, but they just had felix in the mv for some reason. I am astounded that it was actually felix!! He truly didn't sound like himself, in a great way! I think my favorite song from the album is still runners. I don't know what it is about it, but I can't stay in a bad mood when listening to it, and as a healthcare professional who gets called to the hospital at 3am, that's so important. The whole album is a winner, though!

This album has turned out to be one of my favorites overall, but I keep thinking of Slash as my favorite song of this era although it technically isn’t on the album.

So many references in this song - both visually, musically, and pulling direct lyrics from older songs. In the early days, SKZ used to call their concerts a haven for SKZ and Stays to be together, where everyone was welcome. Then they wrote the song Haven to give it a sound. Now the hellevator takes them to Haven (Heaven). I've been with SKZ for a VERY long time, and getting to watch them grow has been a gift.

I'm only halfway through your reaction so maybe you guys touch on it, but I just wanted to point out that the "h" in the elevator now stands for "Haven". Their Haven. It's being with Stays and performing with them.🥹🥹🥹 This song will never not make me emotional!

Estelle S

Whenever you get the chk chk boom festival version I’m pretty sure they actually played it at the lollapalooza festival, so that might be a fun clip to react to if you haven’t already!

mysterious_ky

Pls react to Lollapalooza 2024 full concert.

Indira

Yes. I'm so ready to get emotional again. I absolutely love that you're going into it for the experience and not to analyze it. Me literally tearing up while D'some is saying it's here. So they were at Lollapalooza yesterday and they didn't perform this song but they did play it before they came out. So all of this stays in the crowd we're singing the song and changbin posted on his Instagram. A video of hearing stays sing the song before they went on stage. It's just so beautiful. 3racha are definitely geniuses when it comes to the music. My favorite moment from the music video is watching Felix and Han sing with the blue wings on the floor behind them. One because they are our Sunshine twins. We love them. Two is because Han was the first stray kid picked and Felix was the last one picked and it's like their full circle Journey together and their voices blended together so beautifully. And it just makes me sob even harder every time I watch it. My favorite tracks from this album is Twilight, runners, chk chk boom and I like it.
