2024-12-03 16:40:18 +0000 UTCSometimes you can smooth out textures of canvas by laying down a layer or two of white paint, but I don't know if that would negatively affect how the medium you're using sticks to the canvas over time. Wood panels are a great surface though! Live edge panels could make some really cool unique pieces too!

2024-12-03 16:34:51 +0000 UTCIt wasn't ! The texture frustrates me a bit tbh, but I like that you describe it as pixel art, I haven't thought of it that way. I have three more blank canvases that I will use, but I think after that I will switch to painting only on wood panels for a smoother texture.
