I cried the first time and your immediate reaction made me cry again. He has worked so hard and continues to work so hard to improve himself. He has definitely become more confident. Cant wait till you hear his Radiohead cover - it was an unexpected cover and as expected he did an amazing job.

2024-06-26 05:49:46 +0000 UTCOh wow, i got so distracted and never finished the video. Just got done and the way this will ALWAYS give me chills and i will ALWAYS cry. So like you mentioned it was so interesting for us to get to see how he sounded firstly after coming from Kingdom to now so that growth. In between and then when he sang it the first time he had braces which undoubtedly will affect your addiction or how you pronounce things to now. Him being braces free and him still sounding just as fabulous. If not better than he did before will always blow my mind. The way D'some was like running away from the mic and from the screen because it was so good is so valid. Towards the end of the song the way D'some was getting so hype hearing the way Seungmin was singing was awesome. I will never understand how anybody does not understand or see just how fucking talented and brilliant Seungmin is. Like Seungmin needs to be sung all of the fucking praises in the world because this man is just a vocal powerhouse.

Changbin kicked the first kick at the soccer (aka football) match between Team K-League vs Atletico Madrid. The smile on his face was priceless. I was so happy for both of them as they checked those off their respective bucket lists.

He really is such an incredibly artist. He's not showy, he's authentic, and it hits so hard. I hope you do the Lee Mujin shows too. Seungmin- and I.N's too- really make me go 'woah' even though I listen to them sing all the time. I also loved Han and Seungmin's 2 Kids Show episode because Han's writing with Seungmin's voice performing together. Wow.

His just overall demeanor I think was hampered by the braces and the way he believed he needed them to fix his smile or however he explained it. He always said he'd be different once they came off... and he was right lol. Confident Seungmin is ridiculously attractive and talented. You are not prepared for the 리무진 서비스 version of Seungmin, or any of the Strayteez Members who participated. It's almost so outside the group genres yet so fantastic and heavenly. Not sure when you'll get the chance in your content schedule, but HIGHLY recommend those. (I do also have them pulled out of the episode if you just want the song clips without having to do the cutting yourself, I like offline listening and I'll be damned to pay for downloading on the YT app). I have always found that, as a musician myself (both singing, violin, and mild arrangement), the hardest part of being technically advanced is knowing when to do the flashy bits and knowing when less is more. The ability to know when to pull back and just let the natural basic form of the melody shine on it's own, save the flashy stuff for more showy pieces. A natural vibrato as the solid note tapers off can do so much more emotional damage (lol) in a slow heartwrenching ballad than a hard vibrato. It wouldn't have fit this piece no matter how talented he is, not in the arrangement he made. It's what makes it different from the kingdom arrangement. Eunkwang arranged that to show off all three of their flashy showy talents and tones, the belting vibrato was appropriate in areas of that arrangement. It was louder, more powerful like 80s power ballad style. This more acoustic version needed the bare minimum on sheet music and he absolutely killed it.

My brother loves JongHo and always says he’s better, and while I love both of them and obviously JongHo is undoubtedly talented, Seungmins tone will win for me every time. I’ll never get enough of his voice. If you guys ever get the chance to react to the LeeMujin Service videos for SKZ and ATEEZ, I’d highly recommend them. You really get a chance to see different sides of the members’ vocals there. Loved the reaction, thank you as always 🫶

The forced vibratos can be used to mask pitch variations, but the natural vibrato just comes from appropriate breath control while relaxing the throat and allowing your vocal cords to be a little more relaxed. Pop singing typically encourages removing vibrato, while classical encourages involving it more often.

When he sings, feelings sound true, not artificial, full of genuine warmth towards the listener. It is like if he is reaching out and touching, his singing like a caress. This is great art! As much as 3Racha is respected amongst the members as their driving force, and as much as they seem to be amused by his puppy-being, they all have tons of respect for Seungmin. And rightly so. Han is an Ace and a great singer and mega creative , but he is all over the place when he is singing. Emotionally, I mean. While Seungmin focusses his emotions, channels them and this way is able to hit the hearts of the listener. I love Stray Kids, all of them are so extraordinary (extraoddinary) artists. And Seungmin is the hidden gem in the crown of Stray Kids.

He continues to impress me it seems almost daily with his growth as a person, singer, and member of stray kids. I love the format of Songby and it suits Seungmin so well. I agree 100% that everything Seungmin does is a CHOICE. He does not do things by chance or happy accidence. He is very calculated and intentional with the way he sings and god does it result in some of the most emotional and beautifully delivered music I've ever heard. Can't wait for you guys to react to High and Dry.

Then I went to check out the original by IU and found out the story behind the song and it made me cry. I feel like this version is emotionally more intune with the original (it made me cry the first time I heard it as well) and it just really showcases his phenomenal growth as a singer. I replayed this video over several times, just to hear his singing. There's a reason he's one of my Stray Kids biases and has been since the beginning of my SKZ journey! And the best part, it's on Spotify, and I'm pretty sure it will become my most played song this year. He truly is a gift and so is his talent 💜

2024-06-23 01:24:48 +0000 UTCPlaying violin is the same. I'm a violinist and when I play without vibrato, everything is exposed. You have to be perfect in every way or it will be noticed. But vibrato can actually help with tone and depth, etc. You still need to play well and mistakes will be noticed, but the audience tends to forgive a long whole note that might fluctuate the tiniest bit, if it has vibrato. But without, they will immediately notice something. It's also more raw and gives a different feeling. So removing vibrato can really create an interesting effect.
