Just as fire, if not more. Not the type of music to have this kind of dance, or so you'd think. But this is XG, and they do things differently.
It's hard to pinpoint exactly why this song works so well with us apart from assuming that a) it's just our style, and b) XG charisma seeps through everything, but it 100% also has to do with the mentioned use of Woodwind instruments, samples, 808 heaviness, as well as the 80-90s 'hit' that brings back that 'hiphop' vibe on top of the East Asian sounds and catchy hook lines.
Not to mention, all rap works REALLY well with this - no unnecessary prechorus mood shift, no packed chorus with over the top melodies - it's just rap rap rap with one repeating 'chorus' that basically is another rap with more breaks. They keep things repeating, but also spice things up by adding harmonized melodies, and the fact that every member has completely different timbre and flow to their rap makes things seem new every section.
Beautifully done, and we feel like we should check out more things to really get an idea of what they're doing and HOW they're doing it. Let us know where we should start! :)

Yes, it is exactly like the aespa's choreography video. So the clips of the dancing. The choreography were in the music video, but of course there were cutaways of images and visuals to push the song along. But yes. CHOREOGRAPHY IS SO FUCKING FIRE IT'S INSANE. The way Jurin moves so quickly that it looks fake, blows my mind. And then the move that Harvey did in the beginning looks so fluid and it looks so easy but trying to do it by yourself just by looking at it is kind of hard. One thing that I found hilarious when I first watched the choreography video is that I could immediately tell which one was cocona even when all of their heads were down and they were doing that head swing move. I don't know what it is but she stands out even doing the most basic moves that everybody is doing and is covered up. Oh yes, you guys definitely need to look at their other music. There isn't too much out there, but they do have a lot of dance videos and vlogs and things of that nature. Oh yes, please react to puppet show. It's so good. All of their music is so good like there isn't a bad song.
