[Tier 2] Aespa - Armageddon Analysis (Performance MV)

Since we didn't get to go into detail about some things - here's some written elaboration to accompany the video!
It shows a lot more of the different settings and expands on the Armageddon universe for sure, but there are still too many things to consider - which is wild, because ...how?
What we gathered from this MV as well as Supernova is that there is some kind of battle between two different worlds - the world Aespa originates from, and another AI / Virtual / Fake world where Aespa's copy / avatar exists.
The complex genre merge you hear in Armageddon certainly augments this idea, because the mix of oldschool hip hop, dub step vibe, modern EDM sources and more makes it feel like there is an unintended coexistence between the two worlds. And occasional use of the 'aespa synth' (super saw) feels like moments of sudden clash between the two worlds where all '8' of them exist in the same plane - like a 'glitch' in system.
That, coupled with my emphasized point about 'pairing' - both in lyrical and musical form - most definitely makes Armageddon truly feel like 'an armageddon'. Beautifully done, intended or not, and for someone like us who do not know anything about the lore to be able to come up with such ideas (even if it's completely wrong) just proves how detailed the song writing is.

I forgot my talk-to-text was on and I was singing the song and it actually picked it up 😹🤣😹🤣. Yeah so all of this was in the music video but it wasn't just this. It was the choreography and then it would cut to scenes. That would push the music video along and a bunch of CGI effects and things of that nature. But bits and pieces of this was in the video. The way I will randomly say Armageddon, shoot! I'mma get them, shoot throughout the day is crazy. I am OBSESSED with this song. On a completely different note, when was the last time you guys checked out XG? Because they just released a song Woke up and it is so good.
