Welcome everyone. We've made it. It's Go-Live time. Finally.
Where it all began basically. God's Menu was our second SKZ video. SECOND.
So boom, Go Live lyrics video to make that unexpected connection to Tortoise and the Hare, which is another infamous track that we reacted to in our earlier days, and the original plan was to just react to the Studio Choom version - until we realized we NEVER saw the dance for this song.
So we just decided to go off-script, react to the dance practice video as well.
WHAT. A. TIME.
Unfortunately, our adrenaline got us forgetting that we were going to talk more about the dance but...honestly like...you saw it. We just were too hyped and excited for everything ahead of us. 2024-06-19 15:24:07 +0000 UTCthe god's menu choreo is dope as HECK, never ceases to amaze me. i love it so much. i know the chorus part of the choreography too, and it's exactly how fast as it looks, but they make it look so effortless! funny you'd say that you didn't know that was bang chan's part! he was the one it took me by far the longest to be able to recognise in a song, and he's still the one i most often mistake for other members on a first-time listen. like, he has his own unique tone, but he is also so versetile, and it's like he can make his voice do whatever the song needs it to. i just think it's so interesting

I can't imagine JYP liking Chan so much and trusting him so much that he would give him such a freedom and such a chance then rip it from him. He made himself the common enemy and created a situation for fans to rally around the group. And it did give them both extra bonus time to work and improve off camera, which they did.

It seems like the way skz was promoted or showcased have been very consistent since survival ie own songs own path The stress and risks must hv been 10x for everyone involved esp the members cause it’s something that needs time to mature and grow. Both for skz and the fandom. Therefore HS- for dear sake, pls pls pls watch this next and put a smile on my face 😭😭😭 I need you to see and react to this as to how 3racha and jyp saw their initial goals/future

They wanted Stray Kids not only to gain popularity, but to find die-hard fans and showing real feelings and real tears will do that. "These sweet talented boys will have to fight against this disgusting capitalistic entertainment industry, we have to protect them at all costs" seems like a perfect base for obtaining new dedicated fans - and their money of course.

That was the first live performance I watched where I got a true idea how good these guys were. Their energy is insane.

I probably butcher it, but since it's just me in a room by myself, or in my car, no one can hear me butcher it :D I'm looking forward to Easy. They've reworked the tempos, they've changed the themes, they've created space in the song for solo performances that weren't in the original version, they've created new choreography, etc. That's why even though you may have heard/seen multiple performances of a song, each time it feels fresh. Here's an example: this is a live performance of God's Menu from the 2020 SBS K-Pop Awards. There's no audience (b/c COVID) but the performance is rather unique. It’s cool to see how they keeps these songs relevant but also how differently they sound when singing now… lots of growling and adlibs lol

Chan explained how the titles could be taken many different ways so yeah. But yeah, see you guys know this song. It's shortened to be an intro song and then they gave us the full song and IN live. I understand what you mean. Han-C. Is that the actual word for it D'some? Ass class 🤣. And they all look so beautiful in this video. Hey, let's do it. Dance practice video. Han-C is such a comedian. I can't. It's because the studio tune version has all of the fancy camera work and the cutaways and this is just a still camera so you can see everything you can see all of the hands moving. Also their arms are out which to me helps me focus on their arm movements a lot. But yeah it looks so different from the studio Choom version.
