[Tier 3] SKZ CODE - Ep. 31 & 32｜I'm an Idol Celebrating His 5th Debut Anniversary!?
Added 2024-05-27 14:32:23 +0000 UTCWhat an unexpectedly moving episode this was. The ending was everything :') and we didn't see it coming at all.
As it kicked off with a clever escape room theme with SKZ, and them recovering memories, looking back at everything they've done, we knew that this would be a meaningful replay of their days as SKZ (it was an anniversary episode, after all), but the twist started to happen once they got out of the room.
We thought the episode would end with them escaping, perhaps by then the narrative would go full circle and everything would click, but it was a rather anticlimactic ending that led to another set of games outside the room, almost making the entire room escape meaningless.
Huh, interesting, we thought, having fun nonetheless since we're here for SKZ, but we did have a worry for the producers that perhaps THEY weren't planning the rooms to end this way. SKZ proceeded to get all the questions wrong - that's not a surprise, but still, perhaps the staff didn't see that coming. Then came the ending, and we realized everything before it was essentially a red herring :) It didn't matter - or perhaps it did to them, and they had to improv - but ultimately, nothing mattered because the ending is what mattered...and no matter how the show unfolded, the ending would wrap everything up perfectly.
We love you SKZ,

Omg it's been 2 1/2 yrs since your 1st reaction to them and that means I've been following you handsome a$$ sausages for 2 1/2 yrs! Where has the time gone?! Wow! While they're a bit slowly paced, it shows the faith (thoughtfulness and knowledge) that SKZ Staff have in their 'Kids' and the utter chaos and ineptness of those 'Kids' haha. I'd love to see a rematch of this with different pairings and how each new group fared.

Several of my comments were cut off like that, and I was getting so frustrated until I realized. Once I stopped using special characters, my comments don't get cut off any more.

I think, based on previous shows and games we've seen Skz do over the years, we can probably safely assume that Skziji probably expected most of the games and puzzles to go wrong in these two episodes. However, whether they expected them to get them SO wrong is a question that may never be answered. I also love how, when Stays are brought up at the end, THAT's when they "get" their memories back. And we got to walk along memory lane with them brilliantly all the while they were reminding us that we make them stay. <3 It's beautiful.... with #lovestay playing in the background making me get emotional every time. I love that song 🥹 I'm so excited for the next episodes! They're another fun set of my comfort episodes! :D

I also thought the ending was a bit anticlimatic when I first watched it hahah. It makes sense tho that even though it's an escape room concept they wanted to keep it more light and sweet especially the end part considering it's an anniversary special. The light heartedness is what I really like about Skz. It's always easy, fun and entertaining to watch them!! It's so fun to see how the different duos handle the escape room situation and they were all hilarious for different reasons hahah

Unless the rings are showing like I know Ian's hands from his rings and that's it. EXACTLY!! about 2min and chanlix. I really don't remember SKZ code time out. I would watch it beforehand but I just want to re-experience it with D'some and Han-C. But if I remember it I'll definitely put it in my comment when I watch it with them. So.

Patreon did you dirty... :( I also, am not one of those Stays... i try to guess every time regarding which had is which and I fail...at least getting 2 of them mixed up if not more... lol. and YES, these two episodes are SO Skz coded, it's hilarious. I feel like Skziji should have put 2Min and ChanLix in the opposite rooms... didn't they learn from the earlier scarier episodes that bugs don't scare them?? I LOVE SKZ CODE TIME OUT EPISODES. Girl, they're my Favorites and some comfort-ones I have revisited regularly in this first year as a Stay. :D

2024-05-27 16:33:24 +0000 UTCI thought both of these were just so much fun and yes, the ending was very sweet. Changbin had me laughing throughout. He really likes detective shows, but every time they put him in a position of something like a detective, it doesn't work out that well. But he's so wholesome about it all, it's just so adorable. I felt like he was a bit overwhelmed - we all know he doesn't multitask, but there was a lot of different things happening and I think it just overwhelmed him. He even mentally had to catch up with Hyunjin by doing a mid way recap :D While he didn't get many things, I think he DID help in his own way. Though my fav part was when they had to pick songs that start with an S and they're like "3RACHA"! And he said, we don't have a song called 3RACHA. lol When Han did the melody part of it and his face of absolute shock was just priceless. lol They are literally the cutest beings in the world. It's episodes likes these that just make me so happy to stan them all. And I'm a happy Sausage too :D Love your reactions to these crazy guys.

And I don't feel like starting from the beginning to get my genuine reaction. So like if I think about it I'll mention it again. But I'm so pissed. But I know I mentioned that I've always wanted to try an escape room, but one I'm a huge scaredy cat. So if it's a scary room I ain't for it. And two. I don't think I'm smart enough to put clues together to escape. And I know I mentioned that they were so wrong for putting bang Chan and Felix in the scariest room. Knowing that those two are the biggest scaredy cats of skz. And then I put 2Min (seungmin and Lee know) are undoubtedly the smartest members of SKZ. And Changbin definitely knew who to ask when it came to the password on the computer. Because Seungmin is so smart. I.N definitely hard carried that room. I mean I love han but Han would definitely be me in an escape room. Oh, I also mentioned that I find it so awesome that bang Chan and Felix was switching between Korean and English the entire time. And I think that's so cool! I wish I knew a second language. Oh, I also mentioned that hyunjin's lips are so pink in this episode. Hyunjin definitely hard carried his room as well. Honestly, the fact that they could remember any of these things from forever ago is hella impressive. My memory sucks so I definitely would not be making it out of this room. Okay so I got to the part where they had to guess the hands and I was saying that. The funny thing is there are some STAY that would immediately recognize their hands in the photograph. I am not one of those STAY. I have not learned their veins 😹, but I find it funny that it's one of the clues in the show. That's our dancing gem Lee know. Literally Han is me. Like I can't even be mad because that is me. The way changbin is so like happy and proud when hyunjin gets something right is so cute. But also Changbin step your game up okay. Also, it's hilarious that they were stuck behind dog gates. The way bang Chan was just standing there with his chin on the dog gate was the most adorable fucking thing ever. The fact that Han and I.N couldn't get out even when they unlocked the child proof dog gate is adorable. Oh I completely forgot that there was a second parts of the escape room. Wow! I really have not watched this in so long. Oh that's another thing I mentioned. I only watched this once and it was when I first started my stray kids Journey. I watched all of the stray kids codes, all of the finding SKZ, the getting SKZ or whatever, but I've only watched them once so I'm sure I forgot a lot of things. So I love rewatching these with you guys. Are we really surprised that MinSung thinks alike? They really do have so many songs. But also having the headphones play music while you're trying to think of music is so stinking difficult. Not them playing this song in the background. I think I remember tearing up to this song because I hadn't listened to all of the music just yet. But now knowing the song I can feel myself crying again. Yea i LOVE this episode. So chaotic and so SKZ coded. Just be calm motel. I definitely understand you D'some. If I was locked in an escape room with SKZ I wouldn't be trying to escape at all. Of course I enjoyed everything from the episode. I think it was paced really well. Not y'all. Trying to figure out a slogan for handsome sausage at the end. That was so cute. But yeah I don't remember the time out ones. I know I watched it but I really do not remember it at all. I'm sure when we watch it together I'll remember bits and pieces, but as of right now I do not remember the skz code time out. Anyway, I hope y'all have a lovely day. Bye 👋🏾
