We go into the details in the video and this one really doesn't require any specific background knowledge (though knowing the OG music and groups would obviously help) so we'll keep it short here, but if the other covers surprised us with how much they've changed musically and repackaged the track into ATEEZ style, the surprise factor from this one comes from the invisible achievements - probably one of the more impressive covers ATEEZ have done on Immortal Songs if we consider how difficult what they've done is both musically and performance-wise.
It's not easy to 'hear' the absolute feat they've achieved here, but it is there.

2024-05-22 08:49:31 +0000 UTCJust some background info for this episode: It was the 2021 King of Kings special for that year (filmed in Nov but aired in Dec), where they invite previous winners from the year to compete for the ultimate trophy. It was also the first episode filmed in front of a live audience once Covid restrictions were lightened. If you ever decide to see the full episode, this was filmed at The KINTEX, and the whole audience is masked. The 2 episodes were basically a four hour concert. Also not sure if you realized it, but at the end of EVERY "The Real" stage, Jongho is the only one who doesn't bow. In the MV and various stage performances, he breaks an apple in two (as he does), but for this particular performance, he is holding their most recent Immortal Songs trophy (from the Psy Episode). To date, Ateez as a group has won every performance on Immortal Songs that wasn't a King of King special (and they did 2 of those, the Seo Taiji one and this one). Jongho doesn't win his solo episode, but his performance is still top notch, and I'm so proud of him. Can't wait to see you react to it, it might just bring you to tears, so keep some kleenex handy.

The "이런 게 바로 멋인기라" part is from The Real, and they mixed it in here because it was close in time and it's a stellar combo.
