So we all know that SKZ have TONS of replay/record pieces on their official youtube channel.
We just wanted to ask where we should start! We've heard a lot about Hyunjin's Play With Fire, Han's Scissors, etc. but we all know that the Replay album also had some Record pieces as a part of its B side. Are there more albums that actually contain the Record pieces? If so, we'd like to skip those until we get to said albums. But then, there are tons of brand new stuff there as well, right?

Where should we start? Which ones should we absolutely avoid because they're part of an upcoming album (as in our patreon SKZ marathon content)? I think we found an official playlist for SKZ Replay series - does that playlist have all tracks or is it missing some?

2024-05-02 12:03:42 +0000 UTCPlay With Fire is a bit different from the Replay/Record in that it's a dance choreographed by Hyunjin 🫢 Very sadly most of the Replays aren't on any album, the SKZ-Replay album had a ton of them but I don't think anything pass How Could I Forget has been added since. There are so many good songs though and their covers are also killer 👏🏻 Untitled with Hyunjin and I.N and Black Hole with Bang Chan and I.N were posted the same day as their 2 Kids Show episodes so depends on how you want to hear it for the first time 🫢

2024-05-02 08:09:38 +0000 UTCIf we're talking about the same playlist (the one with 54 videos as of now by skz official yt channel) you can just watch the videos there. Start from the bottom that should be the oldest/first and then work your way up and skip the songs you already heard. I don't think there will be a skz-replay 2.0 album very soon so you should be fine listening even to the most recent songs. But there are two videos (the ones with "ice americano" and "yeah민boss" in the title") which are actually part of a short series called two kids song. 2024-05-02 08:04:16 +0000 UTCIf you're going to watch Hyunjin's solo dances (I know you already watched his AOTM dance) - be sure to check out not only his dance to Play with Fire, but also his dance to Billie Eilish's song, "When the Party's Over." He choreographed both of those himself, by the way.

2024-05-02 06:31:42 +0000 UTCWe don't know if we will get another SKZ Replay album and if we did, they're dropping so many SKZ Records lately it might not even contain half the stuff on the playlist. I would just work through the SKZ record/player playlist (I think the playlist might be named SKZ replay on their account now) in order. They've been dropping a song every few weeks lately plus OSTs etc. so going in order is probably the only way not to miss stuff. And then you could move onto the stage only performances like Scissor etc..

I knew of BTS, but beyond 'Dynamite' and 'Butter' didn't know much else... don't get me wrong, I like those songs and have truly come to like some of their other stuff (the MV for "Fake Love" is SO well done!!) but I was mostly a 'girl STAN', and even then I was just a baby kpop fan, having come into the 'genre' late 2020.. but wow... since SKZ my eyes have been opened to such an array of talent!! I've dived a bit into ATEEZ, TXT and have just recently started the NEXZ (?) generation project... frankly my IRL ppl are so tired of me talking about kpop. It's why I love the sausage fam haha

I will stress that I would LOVE to see Hyunjin's "Play With Fire" simply for greed. I came to know SKZ in the order of "Maniac" (a song that came onto my random KPOP playlist and just wouldn't go away, that I now adore, but didn't fully appreciate then) to Hyunjin's AOTM Studio Choom, where I became a wee bit obsessed with him, to his "Play With Fire" "when the partys over" dance pieces.... and it really just threw me into SKZ. For me, my rankings are Dance, Rap, Song, Visuals... and somewhere along the past couple of years, SKZ have continuously checked all the green boxes... and here we are, commenting gleefully on a sausage post =D

But it seems like every couple of months a snippet of something I've not seen yet appears and it's just so joyous! I am also happy to wait until our Sausages fill in all of the gaps.

However from what I remember they do want to eventually do another skz-replay with more of those songs. So while there are not albums currently with the other songs there might be in the future. SKZ-replay playlist on YouTube under stray kids’ official page has all the songs and covers on it for both players and records. However any special performance songs like Han’s song Scissor, Bang Chan and Changbin’s Mischief, and 3racha’s Passion are not on that playlist as they are not actual skz players/records. Plus there are demos/ random tracks (or clips of them) that have never had an official performance or actually been released that were played or created on Chan’s room or in other stray Kids videos like My People, 창빈 없이 못 살아 (Can’t live without Changbin), 꿀총 (honey gun), sway, spring, and beautiful.

Now, there are some unreleased things you'll have to hunt for, like Scissor. HAN only performed that once at an award show. Never released. There are some unreleased solo songs from The 5 Star DOME Tour from Felix, Chan, Han, Hyunjin, Changbin, and Seungmin.. those are what I can think of right now.

There are rumors and speculations that there will be another Replay type album coming later in the year, but we have no proof or official word on this. I think it would be best to start from the oldest stuff and then go forward from there. It would be the best way to feel and experience their growth. I also think y’all should check out 3racha’s predebut stuff! There are two full mixtapes on SoundCloud. Y’all have heard some of it already bc it was either redone for the whole group or they took parts of it for new songs, or just bc it was somehow related to something else y’all reacted to, but it would be nice to see y’all go through all the tracks. There’s other stuff I’d love for y’all to react to as well, but I think that’s probably enough to chew on for a bit 😅😅

2024-05-02 01:46:11 +0000 UTCfor the skz records honestly I’d just recommend using the playlist on their yt and going from earliest to most recent! and just skip the ones you’ve already reacted to of course 😁 something else I would recommend is when you get to bang chans my house dance cover you actually react to THIS (https://youtu.be/USKJ9g5tExo?si=GSOiE_bNnMHbTWse) video) video because it has all of skz, and they cover the song & dance, whereas bang chan’s video is just the dance cover (someone correct me if I’m wrong, I can’t currently listen to any videos with audio right now lol)

I don't think that any others have been released yet on albums - BUT it's been awhile since I listened to Skz Records in order 😅😅

Play with fire w/ Hyunjin is a dance performance video that is amazing so it can be done whenever. He also has a dance performance video for when the party over by Billie too. Hopes that help some ! ☺️

There’s no guarantee for a new album this year that will include the newer ones and there are a lot of covers that will only be posted on their channel (mostly by vocalracha). There was a few weeks recently where they posted a skz-record every friday (?) so there are new skz-records from just this year and I have the sneaking suspicion that they’ll wait until they have more before releasing them on an album again.

I don't know if we're looking at the same playlist, but from what I see you're good to start from the very beginning. Now there are two videos in the playlist that actually have small shows with them. It's called two kids song. And it kind of goes through how they chose the duo and how they made the song. And those are interesting. But honestly there's so much content for you to get through.
