Genuinely walked into this thinking it'll be a walk in the park, a break from all the craziness that is SKZ discography, and boom. They do this to us - and especially, Seungmin. Wow Seungmin KILLED in this song.

It was an ot8 version during a Japanese concert. I think it's part of transition when they became 8. That performance along with this one gives me chills because it's so moving. Can I ask a favor? It's my favorite, of nearly all of them.) Seconding some of the comments to listen to their most recent performance of this, their vocal improvements are impressive and they are already so great. Seungmin stepping up in his first performance as the main vocal with Han. He was still great before, but between the two he (and Jeongin) didn't really get the main parts. Here, it was like he was singing to prove something, and it knocked it out of the park. This was their first OT8 performance from before Levanter came out. Neverending Story meant so much more than just an OST, it was the promise that Stray Kids will Stay, that they are still there. Our Neverending Story.

I recommend you check out their latest 'Neverending Story' performance at their fan meeting last year, too (Stray Kids 3rd Fanmeeting 'PILOT' 230702). I was going to cry at how far they had come and how developed they were. Finally, they were singing among STAY in KSPO DOME, one of the biggest venues they had dreamed of.

Such a great performance to show the vocal skills in SKZ. Can't wait for you to get to the one takes! You could actually already listen the one take on case 143 as you have already heard that. Tho I feel like that was little less serious as the other One takes they have. But so good. Also if you wanna fall in love with Seungmin more check the Lee Mujin show episode where he is. That one really got to me. And the cover of Day6 Zombie with Bangchan.

If you’re looking for another track in Suengmin’s wheelhouse, I recommend the masterpiece written by Hyunjin, “Cover Me.” It’s a lyric video, not an MV, buy there’s a behind the scenes of Seungmin recording the killing point of the song and it’s epic.

Although it did have some sad painful moments, it is a beautiful story (and once you finish it you'll see that this song is very appropriate). Listening to your reaction and this live performance of the song makes me want to watch it again, although I have such a long "to watch" list atm haha

I will say i wish the backing track wasn't so loud. Facts tho. Everyone sounds like a vocalist (and are). Seungmin is amazing. Seungmin is our OST king. He has done like 4 or 5 now by himself. Like not including the other members. Lol connection and Bang Chan. They do have other OST's and they are amazing. SKZ also released an OST in Japanese literally the other day called WHY? Another favorite OST all 8 of them did is called Hello Stranger, it’s so good and about 3-4 years ago (there’s a music videoooooo 👀)

They were so so soft in this song, I would even argue that the raps were softened as well. Han definitely tends to throw out that full modal voice and it was really nice to see him hold it back for a softer effect. That moment with him and Seungmin is one of my favs 😊 every single member is on point which is why this performance is still legendary.

I first listened to this song when I was still a baby stay learning about them and I fell in love with their diversity. They kill any song that they make and it truly is because they are so talented. I saw it at the beginning of my SKZ journey, and between "Neverending Story" and "God's Menu," one of the other first songs I saw by Stray Kids, I was a complete goner. Absolutely hooked. Stray Kids was my first ever experience with K-Pop. My middle-school daughter got me listening to it. She has moved on (she's about to turn 14 and she's into all kinds of other music now), but I have gone further and further down the K-pop rabbit hole. SKZ are my ultimate group, though. I think they're actually part of my DNA now, to be honest.

I recently discovered that they used the splashing of water as a beat and I love that creativity! There’s T.O.P and Slump which are the opening and ending for the anime Tower of God, they have Hello Stranger from Pop Out Boy which in my opinion is such an underrated song and not enough people talked about it, and literally a few days ago they released Why? which is the theme song for a new Japanese drama called Re:revenge. Seungmin has had several solo OSTs now. He has Close to You from Love in contract, Here Always from Hometown Cha-Cha, Phobia for the Webtoon soundtrack of I’m the Queen in This Life, and most recently Destiny for The Midnight Studio. You also have 3Racha’s song HeyDay on the Street Man Fighter OST.

While this is a song for the show, I also think this is a song for Stay. Vocal heavy title track in Levanter, then a vocal heavy OST. And right after they lost their "main vocal" at the time. I'm so proud of them and just love this song so much. It's definitely one of my top 5 (those may all be tied with each other as it's just too hard to choose lol).

I was early in my SKZ journey when I came across this and it was just another layer that cemented me into their fandom. Any hater who says SKZ is 'just noisy music' needs to be shown this video.
