2024-04-11 21:16:00 +0000 UTCYayyy you’ve finally reacted to all of the (un)holy trinity of skz (Drive, Taste, Red Lights) I think it’s really funny that Chan tried to say it was Lee Know that wrote the lyrics even though Lee Know is one of the members that is the least fluent in English and Chan’s whole verse is in English and then Lee Know said it was Chan who wrote the lyrics to Drive. Also the word play Chan used in his verse with “in the course we’ll be driving so rough” sounding like “intercourse we’ll be driving so rough” like I’m sorry Lee Know couldn’t have written that. Seeing as Chan, Lee Know, and Hyunjin have each had a hand in writing 2/3 of the (un)holy trinity they’ve also been deemed HoeRacha.

But eventually I did get into it and come to enjoy it. If I focus more on the sound and music it squicks less 😅. But I do find the song quite fun now just for the jokes tbh.

I think my personal favourite amongst their attempts at explaining away this track is when Bangchan himself reacted to it on Channie's room, happily singing along and then breaking into a fit of giggles after singing "in the course, we'll be driving so rough". That man does NOT have a poker face ... Lol Thanks for another great skz reaction! I'm always looking forward to them^^

2024-04-11 20:00:31 +0000 UTCThe funniest part of Chan pretending Lee Know wrote the lyrics for Drive is that, out of everyone in SKZ, Lee Know speaks the least English, so even if he wrote all the Korean lyrics, it's transparently obvious who wrote Chan's verse. Which also makes me laugh, because there's a pun in it that I think often gets missed - when he sings "in the course, we'll be driving so rough," it sounds very much like "intercourse", and I'll eat a rock if that's not intentional. :D

It just makes me feel squicky, like SKZ's song Wow does. Can't stand either one of those. But I know a lot of people like both, so I guess it's just each to his own.

Also Han thought the song was called Riding (I can't really blame him) hahah

You just bop to it. So I know that D'some is catching the innuendos, but I don't know if Han-C is catching them. Lee Know really carried the aong so well. I never would have guessed thaf Lee Know would sing a song like this. More like riding 😏. I got alt hip hop but yea. I really liked the cut cut part that Han-C was talking about. The stationary bike was so corny that it was cute, to me. STAHP, not lonely island 😹🤣. Ok course i did not think it was about driving. Like Han mistakenly said at one point it definitely about riding 😹. Okay and real quickly just wanted to remind you guys about hoodie season again. It was originally a 3racha song byt when you did the reaction you didn't listen to the 3racha version as well, just thw OT8 version.
