But we were proud, because the music that caused such damage was like a war-chant. They were intense, overwhelming, triumphant, and dominating.
WHAT WE DID NOT WANT IS A SONG ABOUT HOW IT'S TIME TO WEAR A FREAKN HOODIE TO DESTROY OUR BRAINS LIKE THIS.
This is not right. We do not accept this loss. This is not a defeat. SKZ cheated on this one.
But all jokes aside XD we loved this one so much, and we seriously WILL do another breakdown - perhaps at this week's live session tmr, or maybe as a separate video, or both :)

Though, if find this song difficult to listen to, it is definitely not easy listening, in spite of coming along so harmlessly. It is a song for endlessly exploring, like shards of a caleidoscope, shifting its shapes continuously. Amazing. For "Slump" you definitely need to see the "First take" version! To hear them sing this in a live version is amazing.

Plus so many of those 3racha songs have yet to be made into mixtapes and I need more people to hear them. Cause when Stray Kids released Double Knot and WOW I thought it was gonna be a full group version of their 3racha songs (spoiler alert it wasn't). Plus there are some 3racha songs that have never been officially recorded that are fantastic like 문제아 (Mischief) by Bang Chan and Changbin or Scissor by Han or Hey, Monster by 3racha. There's also Bang Chan's EDM track 꿀총 (Honey Gun) which uses a vocal sample from the song 3racha made during Chan's livestream called Can't Live Without Changbin. Both of which are hilarious and sound surprisingly good for something they created very quickly as a joke. In terms of SKZ songs in general I definitely recommend doing the OSTs so Neverending Story, TOP and Slump (there are Korean, Japanese, and English versions of both), Hello Stranger (which in my opinion is SOOO underrated), Close to You (Seungmin Solo track), Phobia (another Seungmin track), Here Always (another Seungmin solo). Outside of OSTs there are a handful of songs not on their albums that are collabs like Going Dumb which is a collab between DJs Alesso and Corsak, Just Breathe which is between japanese rapper Sky-hi and 3racha, All My Life (Stray Kids Remix) which is Lil Durk featuring Stray Kids, Rush by Troye Sivan featuring Hyunjin (honestly you can barely tell hyunjin is in the song) Then you have the SKZ Records and Players that are not part of SKZ-Replay. Like some of the newer songs like Volcano by Han, Long for you by Hyunjin, Eternity by Bang Chan, Want so bad by Lee Know and han, Cypher by Changbin, Contradicting by Hyunjin. But also on that playlist is a bunch of covers they did of day6, 2pm, Justin Bieber, Gaho. As well as choreographies to dances that Hyunjin did .

Like someone else said, SKZ2021 and SKZ2020 are their previous songs re-releasrd as OT8. It might be interesting to you guys to see how the members distribute WJ lines? But that also depends on how long you want to put off Go Live and In Life. 😅 You could do a poll maybe and see which songs we on patreon want to see? Or you could just decide to skip them and go to TOP and Slump. 🤷🏻♀️

They have mixtape singles, Japanese releases, OSTs, collaborations, skz records, skz players, and special releases all over the place, so you'll need to really watch lists or whatever to know what was released in what order. And they started doing lots of versions too. For instance, Slump has 3 versions (Eng, JP, Kor) and I'm not sure which you want to listen to. (It would be so interesting to see the differences in the lyrics between the versions tho!) Have fun!

2024-03-22 01:52:14 +0000 UTCHoodie Season is the last of the numbered mixtape series that were pre-debut 3RACHA songs that were turned into SKZ songs. Top, Slump, Mixtape: On Track, and Mixtape: Gone Days all came before the Go Live album dropped, but they are also on the album itself. I don't think it matters if you listen to them before Go Live or while you are listening to Go Live. SKZ2020 is the OT8 versions of songs released before Levanter (not all songs were on the 2020 version) and the rest were released on the SKZ2021 album. I don't think there was anything new added for 2020 other than some Japanese versions of Levanter, Double Knot, and My Pace. After Go Live, there is another OST before In Life called "Hello Stranger".

Me personally i feel like you could skip skz2020 but i guess whatever y'all feel like doing. Also you guys did it backwards. You normally do 3racha version first and then skz version. I feel like that eay you can really see how they progressed. Han-C over there vibing. Too cute. The seconds of stillness after the song finished was hilarious. The song is seriously adorable. Hyunjin's part is a meme in the same way Hannie's part in wow is 😂. That's a pretty good description D'some. It definitely had a lot going on. The only live videos that I can find of the boys performing hoodie season are all focused videos. So it's focused on one person instead of showing all of them. I found Seungmin focus. Hyunjin focus and Bang Chan focus. Bang Chan is the funniest because Bang Chan very much looks like the song. he looks chaotic. He has so much going on.
