Lots of cool stuff in the making, including how they mixed different genre elements, prioritized vocal accents, etc. etc.
So let's not waste any second and get right to it :D
AND do let us know if Hoodie Season ISN'T the next mixtape in line (we talk about it in the video). We were thinking it'd be Hoodie Season followed by Gone Days.

I love how you analyzed this song and gave a translation to the wise Korean lyrics parts. I am more and more impressed with this song. Be sure to watch and react to the #LoveSTAY song on the SKZ-Replay album. It made me cry for 4 days.

2024-03-15 15:54:20 +0000 UTCNoooooo this is so emotional! I can't listen to it and watch the MV nor can I listen to it and pay attention to the lyrics. The fact that it closes Levanter (if we put aside the mixtape) is just the drop that makes my cup overflow. The period following Woojin's departure from the group was sad for SKZ because they had lost a member AND some fans "followed" Woojin. In the clips from the concert in the MV, the members are seen crying briefly. IRL, it was a heavy moment in SKZ-STAY history. The most painful to me are IN and Hyunjin's end of the show comment: I can't watch these, it's just emotional damage haha (lowkey all the members' comment on that day are). But they asked STAY to stay by their side and to keep on liking them, hence why the song You Can STAY is so emotional.

Then in order, Mixtape: Gone Days, English from Clé (double knot and levanter), the 2020 Rerecord compilation with some new japanese versions, then Mixtape: On Track, followed by the three versions of Top and Slump (Kor, Eng, Jap) before the Go生 Full Album. Both Mixtape: Gone Days and On Track AND Top/Slump are on the Go生 album at the end, so I think you can watch them wherever as far as chronology goes either before or with the album. That's it for surprises though as far as mixtapes go, the others past #5 all have names and aren't 3racha's released songs, one for NoEasy and one for 5 Star. Each from #5 on are at the end of their respected albums since they are released like a single before the album release.

After Woojin left, I think they were in a bit of turmoil and unsure of their future. I'm so glad that Stay supported the boys during that time. Hoodie Season is the 5th mixtape yes. Mixtape 1 thru 5 were all (I think) originally 3Racha songs that they redid (sometimes keeping just the lyrics, idea behind it, or sometimes the main melody). Mixtapes starting after that are just one off singles basically, but they are not 3Racha remakes.

I love the pupper cameo. Not the JYP diss track 🤣😹 that would be hilariously iconic if the kids did that but they are a bit too nice for that. This song makes me happy cry. Not as much as mixtape #2 but yea. Also i think its amazing that they were to edit so many of the tour clips without woojin without affecting the quality and emotional side of it. The genre is STRAY KIDS. Thats it. Lol if you find a link to the Changbin body pillow i will need you to share it immediately! Bye guys 👋🏾
