This song, which undeservingly had little talk around it at least from what we've seen online, is incredibly structured with some heavy undertones governing its overall mood. Brilliantly written, and executed.
Lots to talk about, including the beautiful live performance we react to, so hope you enjoy, and keeping our words, we really didn't search until now whether Han wrote this song or not, so definitely let us know down below if he did XD.

I love this song, but I listen to it on Spotify mostly, not YouTube. It's on one of my sleep playlists because it's so soothing even if there's more angsty elements

But yeah, Han wrote this song on a US Tour bc he realized on a day off that he couldn't take a proper day off because he was worried about falling behind others. So he wrote this song as a comfort to others who might struggle with taking time off and time to recharge as well. 😊 (at least that's what I can recall from my mediocre memory...lol) And yes, this song seriously needs to be talked about more!! Much like a TON of their Bsides on Go Live/In Life. I LOVE this song and will frequently just put it on repeat and listen to it for hours. It's very comforting (as all Hannie songs are for me) and helps calm my frantic brain. 😌 So glad you guys enjoyed!

I agree with the sentiments, I always assumed the song was like "Everyone is going to have an opinion about who you are and what you do. You have to find the peace inside yourself to stay true to what you enjoy or what makes you happy. The 'sunshine' from that peaceful world shining and reminding you that no matter what everyone else says or thinks everything will be okay as long as you are true to yourself. Let the noise drown itself out." That was always my takeaway, it's a very Han idea/feeling, which makes sense since it's one of his songs. But anyway so glad you enjoyed it. That’s a live clip from vlive that no longer exists so that’s probably why the low views before we could just watch it in the app

I came upon this song very late in the game myself, and I even at times forget it exists (forgive me, the discography is gigantic), but I always find that when I need to hear the message the most, it finds me. Personally I love Sunshine but all the tracks on this album are just amazing so it's difficult to choose one xD I knew you were going to like this one!!! The amount of love that this song has gotten might have to do with the fact that Levanter (the album) is one of their lesser popular releases, pre-God's Menu. I think the release might've been trampled a bit by the fact that Woojin left. For me personally: I prefer both the other albums over this album in the Clé series and I have heard many share this opinion. This is not to say that this is a bad release, just not their strongest, I guess? Nevertheless, I love this song. Sometimes I'm in a sad mood and I have my playlist with sad songs and its 90% songs from Han. I love it, because it feels like a lazy Sunday, where I'm in the sun, rethinking about the week I just had. Idk, it has some sadness in it, but also some warmth that brings comfort. I know the next song is supposed to be the last song (You can STAY), but on the physical album there was (again, just like the I am series & Clé 1: Miroh) an hidden mixtape, called Hoodie Season! It's another remake of the 3RACHA track of the same name, I'd love to see it included in the reaction, if you're gonna react to it!

But that's the thing with SKZ: too many great songs (to not say all of them)!! There will always be those songs not talked about enough because there are many others that are talked about more. Sunshine does have its own "fanbase" though! STAY are very attached to each SKZ songs because they each have different messages that people need to hear and/or that people hold close to their heart. Sunshine is a Han song too haha

He said he was inspired by the city and the landscape, the pretty skies. His take on it was, he wants to rest, but he gets anxious about missing things and falling behind others, so he has a hard time taking a break. His lyrics were meant to describe the ideal break not a real one. As he's unwilling to take a real break. He just wanted people to relax for the duration of the song and take a real break.
