This song feel like a cyberpunk 2.0

I love this song! When you guys react to Dreamy Day you guys should also watch their Sound Bomb 360 performance as well. https://youtu.be/DA6_FvpZT4Y?si=oVOEJ1C4fDvZjCXb

This is honestly my favorite track on the album, I love the whole album, but there is something about this that just hits me in a different way than the others.

I love Silver Light. I can understand where people are coming from on the order of the track list bc to go from Dreamy Day to MATZ is a shock to system. lol The best way to think of this album is in two halves. The first half is the resolution of The World. They released a trailer for “World A” which includes Dreamy Day and the unit songs and then a video for the World: Will Outro (but it’s not the full outro song). These seem to be connected back to the Fever Era in some way. The unit songs don’t sound lore-ish, but the MVs definitely are. The very last track in the album feels like there’s a big connection back to Fever so maybe there’s some sort of “merging” of the worlds. Idk, I finally caught up on the storyline, it gets super dark.

This song takes me into paradise from the first listen until now. Every member’s vocal sounds really good and it matches the music and the lyrics so well. I can imagine after ATEEZ fights for their rights or freedom in the MV, they try to live happily without anymore obstacles. It sounds dreamy, deep and sentimental in a way and I love it. I was waiting for your reaction and it feels great listening to your thoughts. I’m looking forward to your other reactions because it will be amazing!

Oh my goodness, I could kick myself. I had a whole comment almost finished and accidentally fat-fingered my way to refreshing the page. I could sob. ...anyway... So, first of all, I absolutely love this song. I can't even tell you how much I love it. Actually, I CAN tell you -- until I heard this song, I swore I'd never have a favorite ATEEZ song because they're all just so good, but now this one's my favorite. (lol) I very much agree with those who say it's similar vibes to Cyberpunk and Take Me Home, like what you'd get if those two had a baby. Considering how much I enjoy both of the others (Cyberpunk was among the first I ever heard by them, and I still cry every time I hear Take Me Home), it makes sense that this one hit me like it did. ===== Two primary thoughts about this song before moving on. ..... 1 - the initial rap section, specifically Captain's first bit. You guys are probably not going to get this reference since you haven't listened to the first album of this series (World EP 1 : Movement), but they released a couple of trailers for Movement... and in trailer 2, there's a part where Captain stands alone while a zeppelin crashes behind him and a siren sounds in the distance. THAT is what I saw mentally the first time I heard this part of the song. Even now, it conjures that image, that feeling. I actually queued up the trailer (muted) to that part and watched it while listening to the rap section of the song, and it's honestly pretty cool that way. You guys should definitely check out the trailers for that album once you're at the point of getting into it. ..... 2 - the lyrics. Man, the lyrics. So, my apologies to anyone who HAS actually read this album's diary because I have STILL not managed to sit my procrastinating tail down with it... BUT, I'm going to lore it out a TINY bit here regardless just based on gut feelings. Knowing the next song is Crescent Pt 2 and that is our transition song between the Z tracks and the A tracks... and knowing that its placement here and that crescent is a moon stage, which means it most likely is referring to the Cromer... The lyrics make me feel like we're supposed to "follow the silver light" to travel from world Z to world A, like maybe just maybe it's referring to a return home for our guys now that they've burned it down over in Z. The silver light could be moonbeams or something, or the light of a star that they're following (since they've referenced Peter Pan in the past as well), or... well, just about anything. What matters is that it feels very much like we're being set up for a transition of some kind, which makes sense when the very next song is literally the transition track. ===== Track order. I've said it before and I'll reiterate it here: I wouldn't change a thing. The order makes sense to me both mentally (especially lore-wise) and emotionally (how the music touches/affects me). While I can definitely understand why some feel the order would be better if they'd changed it, to me it just wouldn't make as much sense as it does this way. To me it's not even about this being the order in which they wanted us to experience it all, it's just that it "feels right" to both my head and my heart.

I love this song! It's such a soothing balm to the soul and the rap parts are incredible. So unique in their placement and structure. I understand people wanting to reorder the tracks because the vibe switches can be a little jarring. However, as with all things Ateez, it's because of the story line. This album is the final act of the revolution they've been part of. They are gathering their forces together, calling forth their space age pirate ship, creating a last huge distraction and busting people out of prison, celebrating, then finally flying off into the beautiful sunset. They literally transition to being in a different dimension/world at about this point in the album/during the interlude which is why the unit tracks are all so different. They become the Ateez of world A with a wide variety of emotions and life experiences.

This album dropped at 2100, as I was driving to work in a thick fog, and listening to Silver Light in what actually looked like silver light was surreal and lovely. (I listen to a lot of Korean albums for the first time when I'm driving, because they all seem to release at 2100 pacific. I wonder how much that impacts my first impressions.) I thought this had similar vibes to Cyberpunk and Take Me Home, and if I were to put all three on a spectrum (a spectrum of what? I don't know, the vibe of the vibeyness?) I'd stick Silver Light in the middle. Anyway, thank you!

Also cannot wait for you to get to everything hehehe one of my personal favorites

Dachi

I actually like the order?? Its just as intended as ateez wanted us to listen to the album

Dachi

This album has given me strong Cyberpunk 2077 with a touch of Hunger Games scene settings vibes but no dystopian desert vibe. However there are tracks that have the opposite of dystopian vibes and more light vibes. I won't ruin which tracks those are. As for rearranging the tracks, I'd definitely put MATZ before Silver Light. You'll know why I say that when you get to it. But Silver Light does act as a nice break.

Eva Minster

Oooooohhh there is just two more tracks between You Guys and MATZ! !!!!!!!!!

Paulina

Silver Light is my favorite song from the new album. I've been waiting for this reaction. Enjoyed it!

Yesss Silver Light is my favorite song on the whole album! I love the 80s vice/night drive vibe(but also the cyberpunk element). I feel like ATEEZ and Moody 80's synth/cyberpunk is a match made in heaven. I also love the way as always, the whole vibe of the production switches when it's time for Hongjoong and Mingi's verses. I loved the production of this song so much, and everything you said about it feeling more cold and blue was so spot on!

Kiara

Yeeaaasss I’ve been patiently waiting for this one!
