2024-01-08 12:51:14 +0000 UTCIt's so sweet they did a graduation party for Innie. I think the horror thing at the end is partially a joke because I.N was in school for so long whilst being in SKZ. He was a year older than everyone else in his school year so he graduated one year older than most people do, so for about 3 years of being in SKZ he was still going to school and for two more years after everyone else had graduated. There are a lot of SKZ talkers where they're backstage at music shows and I.N is trying to do homework whilst everyone else is doing whatever. A bit of general info about schooling that might be useful as background information- Chan and Seungmin attended the same school, Lee Know was fully graduated and I think had started university before becoming a trainee and being in SKZ. Changbin graduated soon after SKZ started. Hyunjin and I.N went to the same school (SOPA) but I.N was 2 years below Hyunjin. Han grew up in Malaysia and only went to school until he was about 8 or 9, he was home schooled after that and came back to Korea to take his exams at about 15- at which point he did a deal with his parents that he could spend one year trying to get into a company and if he failed he would return to Malaysia and study and go to university (he got into JYP after just a couple of months). Felix left school in Australia at 16. So when SKZ began Seungmin, Hyunjin, and I.N were still going to school (and for a little while Changbin) but Han and Felix chose not to join school in Korea because it would be too much and they both already had completed the basic school curriculum before moving to Korea (if I have my facts right). But for a couple of years it was just I.N having to go to school. We also know that Hyunjin is currently studying English at university and the others are doing some performance based courses but Hyunjin is the only one who really talks about being a university student. I have no idea how they fit everything in but props to I.N for finishing school whilst working full time as a Stray Kids member. Respect.

The whole episode was very Knowing Bros meet Amazing Saturday. Someone above mentioned Hyunjin and I.N were classmates at SOPA (one of their pairing nicknames is SOPAZ for being graduation buddies). Bang Chan and Seungmin also went to the same school (Cheongdam High School) and sometimes get called Cheongdamgoz.

2024-01-08 06:02:55 +0000 UTCYes, that’s his real uniform! I.N graduated from SOPA (School of Performing Arts Seoul). Hyunjin also graduated from the same school 2 years prior. They are known to travel to school together in the wee hours of the morning.
