So after what happened in We Know, Emergency and Crazy Form, it shows that they’re celebrating their victory. I love it! I can’t wait for your other reactions❤️

Besides that, I can't help but feel like these songs are real experiences ATEEZ have gone through and are currently going through and it's being disguised as lore. Some of these lyrics feel too real for me. Then again, some of what they say in MATZ is stuff that really did happen. Especially the one diss Hongjoong serves in the middle of the song.

The whirling waltz-esque time signature bits, Mingi's flow (tbh the beginning sounded like Rosie Perez when she really gets going, or someone just about to spill some tea), Jongho's sort of mariachi-ish seranade towards the last third - if I could manifest into the ether and make love to this song I would, skrr skrr and all.

2024-01-03 09:08:47 +0000 UTCThis is my favorite song on the first half of the album. Thanks for clearing up those mistranslations! The song makes a lot more sense to me lyrically now. Although, I have to laugh, because like, at this point, there’s a lot of plausible deniability with their sexy songs. Like, when it gets sexy, they can be like “hey hey hey guys! It’s the LORE, okay!…or is it? It is!!…or is it?” And YES this is one of my favorite verses from Mingi ever, actually. His delivery is so different than his usual delivery, and his whole spoken intro and Spanish sound natural. My favorite part, though, has gotta be the bridge, with Jongho beginning with that spiraling melody leading up to San’s sustained “Canta Juntos ayoooooo.” Just such a fun song with so many cool things going on. Also, side note, my friend in Colombia, with whom I went to the Ateez concert in Bogotá, told me she basically only listened to this song for a week after she first heard it. Said it reminded her of a Bad Bunny song with a super cool twist
