2023-12-29 22:14:19 +0000 UTCIt's been so long since I've watched these and are still so second-hand cringe worthy that I can't help but laugh. I LOVE the friendships between ATEEZ and SKZ. That's why I could never understand 'fan-wars' (in general). Many of the Idols themselves are friends, have known each other for so long, all are achieving the same dream etc etc. Fan-wars are just so toxic, and they must take an impact on the Idols as well. (sorry /endrant lol). I am firmly STAY, but I love to see any group/soloist succeed. It's a tough industry.

2023-12-29 05:31:05 +0000 UTCChan and Peniel go way back - the way I've heard the story, when Chan moved to Korea at 13, because JYP has separate dorms for national vs international trainees, Chan was in the international dorm, and at the time it was empty except for him, so he was alone. A couple of weeks later, Peniel showed up, and on arriving, he thought at first he had the international dorms all to himself, and being seventeen, he was like, "Sweet, privacy!" Until tiny baby Chan came running up to him - and Chan was *tiny* at thirteen, you've seen his audition clips - saying, "I'm so glad you're here, I was so lonely! Can I call you hyung?" And Peniel was like, oh shit, guess I've got a child now. So that's why he's saying he'll speak to Chan on I.N's behalf (and also because maknae solidarity). Seonghwa admitting to watching Lee Know's fancams and Lee Know getting flustered by it is hilarious to me, though they did end up swapping numbers and now hang out sometime as 98-liners. (There's an Ateez clip where Hongjoong learns about this and is briefly jealous because he didn't know, lol.) Felix and Wooyoung are talking about Changbin because Wooyoung and Changbin are BFFs; they knew each other in high school before they were trainees, then reconnected as idols. The two of them have a friendship trio with Yeonjun from TXT called the Darlingz, and I would literally empty my wallet to see a subtitled video of the three of them having tipsy gay brunch together.

And then wooyoung mocking Changbin's voice sounded like Marge. YES HAN, not D'some saying Martha πΉπ€£ martha Simpson ππ. It genuinely surprises me how many idols are introverted. Im uncomfortable with everyone πΉ i feel old around young people and i feel like a baby around older people.

Peniel was a trainee at JYPE and the two lived in the international trainee dorm together before Peniel left for Cube. They got closer during Kingdom and have kept a close friendship since. Peniel and Chan went to Disney Japan together (with a mutual who owns CEEBS clothing brand) for Chanβs birthday this year.
