2023-12-13 05:23:13 +0000 UTCOnce you announce you're doing the whole discography, getting spoilers is bad. *nod nods* Since ATEEZ has a no-skip discography, warning in advance will do little except potentially overhype some songs and under-rank others, so discovery is the best way to go. Plus, as a watcher, it's so much fun to know that "in the next episode..." they're going to blow your dang minds AGAIN. I live for that, so ... sorry not sorry. But remember, Horizon exists, and it gave a little glimpse as to their ability to do something like TTB, and that it would be a killer b-side. Since we're looking forward to spoilers, though, Inception was chosen by fans in a vote as the title track over Thanxx. You can expect it to sound much different than the IKON version you heard on Kingdom LW. It's one of ATEEZ's most popular and recognized tracks, and really brought them a lot of attention. Yes, it's actually Seonghwa doing Seonghwa things and just surprising us all _again_ with his overflowing talent. It was also a good view of when he grew much more self-confident enough to ask for the role in the song, and as well to really show out in the video and promotions. I'd recommend watching the dance practice, and maybe the group reaction to the video? Depends on how much time you want to give it. Looking forward to it! Thanks for this one!

Also, thanks for teaching us some Korean. I think Hongjoong and Mingi do word play alot in their raps. Especially like the one you pointed out here.

Which at first I was like "really?!" but in retrospect it makes sense, because every time I hear it I immediately replay it...and replay it...and replay it... Because it's so full I miss things, and then there are the parts like "I NEED to hear that part again - but also that other part...and that one part too" and before I know it I've spent a 30 min car trip listening to just one song. As usual, I appreciate your lyrics explanation. It adds a lot, and the song is even more cheeky than I initially expected from the tone.
