Amen

I feel like we all know what we THOUGHT he said...but that's the magic of wordplay. maybe really emphasizing the "p" part of ᄇ in 부타 was very intentional...after all, it is a very Spanish-influenced section and it would fit with the general mischief

Tealeafer

Aaahh I’ve been looking forward to this reaction! Thanks for the insight on the Korean slang, I had no idea of that aspect. Makes me appreciate it even more. You will love the album. Looking forward to your full reaction but especially matz… that might be my favorite song low key

Alex Roland

Absolutely love Crazy Form! Can't wait for you guys to get to the rest of the album! There's one son in particular I can't wait for your reaction..I think it'll break your brains a little 😂😂

Becca

Agree...I had the same feeling but the word I kept thinking of was celestial. That's what this album felt like. You'll probably notice it when you do the album reactions.

Sinbad

Ha this was such a great read. Thank you for that!!!

Handsome Sausages

Space travel is a GREAT way to put it!!

Handsome Sausages

That'd have been awesome though honestly

Handsome Sausages

Han-C def mentioned how he thought it's Spanish, and so did I at first, but that part was unfortunately cut XD

Speaking of San's glove, he actually wore that glove for a previous comeback. Everyone was wearing black and they did a group shot where San was crouching doing the peace sign. Fans were asking why he was cursing them with his middle finger and he explained that it was the glove that made it seem that way. Lol. As for the album, good luck. You might want to take it slow.

Eva Minster

I cannot wait for you guys to react to the entire album. It is so good.

Stacey Mac

Same! I wish Seonghwa had gotten the chance to wear the outfit for this. Hurt my heart that he was afraid of backlash. I was happy to see he brought back the corset though. He looked amazing.

Trialz315

Omg I love you for the tiny lore recap!

Trialz315

I have been waiting for this from you guys! I’m so excited for you to hear the rest of the album as well! It’s a no skip album for me. And this song has just lodged itself in my brain and refuses to leave. Lmao, I’m glad you noticed Sans glove. With the glove history it was intentional lol. Once again, thank you for explaining the bits of Korean that tend to get lost in translation. Y’all are the best! 🖤

This whole album is intended to indicate their future musical direction, at least according to a few articles I've read. Essentially, they want to focus on musical prowess (getting better at what they do, putting out better music with each release) without worrying over whether or not it will chart. Here's a link to one of the articles that sums it up really well. https://bnn.network/arts/music/ateez-takes-a-bold-step-forward-with-new-album-release/ Man, I love you guys and how you give context on the Korean aspect of things. Thank you for that. Some of it might be universal at least in respect to how "crazy" is used as slang (just coming from an English-speaking perspective on that one, though)... but I seriously appreciate when you educate us a bit on how stuff like this translates when used within Korean language, culture, etc. It helps so much with gaining a better understanding of the artists I love. As much as I love this song, and I really love this song, it's not even my favorite from the album... and for once, I do actually think I might have a favorite song from the album (and maybe even a favorite overall if it keeps writing itself deeper on my brain) -- you'll get to that one once you go through the full album, of course. --- The lore bit at the end is interesting to me. We've got a broken Cromer, a bluebird, and a full moon... with music from Crescent pt 2. What we know: - Yeosang turned a Cromer to send the guys back to their home (A) then broke it and was captured (we see the broken Cromer in the "cookie" at the end of Turbulence, we've seen him imprisoned, we've seen his drone in Deja Vu, etc. - and all of this is explained in the diaries). - Yeosang is associated (heavily) with birds in general, and bluebirds specifically in the World series (sings about the blue bird that lost its voice in Halazia; delivers messages to the guys as "Blue Bird Delivery" in the extras for the Outlaw album). - The bluebird in the "cookie" has found its voice and is flying away. My thoughts: I see it as a hopeful thing. They could very well be trapped in Z now, and they've already shifted fully into their roles as Halateez (also part of the diary info), but the cage door has been opened and those who were captive can find their voices and walk (fly) into freedom. Also, we know that this isn't the end, it's just the finale to this series. There's so much more yet to come, which could be future or past in terms of lore since there's no guarantee they won't time-hop again. As a final thought and slight spoiler for anyone who hasn't heard it ~ the last song on the album ends with "Is it a new world?", which leads me to believe that they're looking out at what has happened in Z and seeing a "new world" in the making (rather than stepping into a new world as when they traveled from A to Z). I'll close there, in part because I need to run to an appointment and in part to avoid writing a full book here... lol...

Nikole

"Crazy Farm" could work too, really... they're some of my favorite animals.

Nikole

I absolutely love this song. It feels like a massive Diss to the music industry, other groups, the haters, not really sure but it's like they are saying "we're Friggin awesome, let me show you". I love that D-some noticed San's glove. It has a bit of history where he wore it in performances before and it caused some "controversy"/meme because people thought he kept putting up his middle finger... while he didn't mean it that way.. however in this MV I feel they purposely put that in with that exact meaning and it fits so well. The choreo in this is just amazing, I love how it switches from very powerful and fast moves to more slow, laid back but VERY controlled movements. It all fits the mood so well. Now I am just as lost with Ateez lore as about 99% of the fandom, but I am really curious about the implications of the broken cromer at the end of the MV. Are they stuck in this universe? Will we get music/lore implying their journey trying to get back? Does it imply an end to something? I WANT TO KNOOOOOOOW also edit: I really like the rest of the album. While Outlaw-album really had that Apocalyptic Dessert-vibe, I feel like this album almost has a space-travel to different universe type vibe. I really love "We know" and "It's you". Also Crescent pt2 is just instrumental but sooooo beautiful and it creates a very nice transitions from the group-songs to the unit songs. so for the rest of the album, please do listen in order!

This song SLAPS! Possibly my favourite ever of theirs, and the mv is killer too. Literally my only sad point is learning that Seonghwa had originally planned on wearing heels and a vest-that-looked-like-a-dress for his outfit, and even got as far as trying it on, before deciding to tone it down out of fear of backlash, which sucks on several levels, but! He still looks amazing and the song is Good.

sysrae

I agree this song grows on you. I was telling my kpop friend it was only my third favorite song on the album (it still is but...) but like three hours later, out of nowhere (we were at work, so literally in the middle of talking about something else) I'm like "M that song is insidious. I didn't think it was going to get stuck in my head but it's firmly lodged in there rn." (And he said "if San takes his shirt off again I'll watch the video." And I said "Watch the MAMA performance then you nugget.")

There is SO much to talk about with this song, musically, but yeah, that driving bass is nuts. It kind of reminds me of like…some kind of nightmare boss video game music, and it’s sick. Also, I really love HongJoong’s flow here! It sounds so fresh and it matches his character perfectly, and, of course, sounds amazing. And yeah, I feel like most of us heard Spanish in that Latin-influenced section in the middle, partly because it straight up begins with YeoSang saying “Taki Taki,” which doesn’t mean anything in Spanish, but was a huge hit by Latin American artists. In terms of the MV, built different (has crazy form?) as usual, but highlights for me were the pairing of brainiac-hottie-you-can-tell-he’s-smart-because-he’s-wearing-glasses WooYoung with smart-but-a-slacker-you-can-tell-because-he’s-dressed-like-a-stoner-Yunho as the comedic brains of the operation, HongJoong taunting the cops while doing little hip thrusts (because why not), and WetTeez going nuts at the bar after Jongho shoots the sprinkler, which, of course, is all part of the epic end. On a personal note, thanks to the font they used and not knowing the Korean word for “form,” when they announced the title for this, I thought the title was “Crazy Farm” for…let’s say, too long.

Tealeafer

San's glove that shows his middle finger has a funny history where he wore it with black outfits in the past and it accidentally made it look like he was flipping off the camera in pictures, so they definitely included it in this mv on purpose lol

Taylor

This is what i’ve been waiting for and oh my gosh, we also have the MAMA performance reaction?!! ATINYS are blessed today. Hahahaha.
