IMPORTANT SKZ POLL FOR TIER 2 AND UP

So for those of you who don't know - we've started reacting to SKZ Code, and have been getting a lot of recommendations in terms of some other contents that are available that may help us understand what's going on in SKZ Code down the road.
We HAVE the two links for two SKZ Family episodes that will help us understand the dynamic, but a lot of people have mentioned SKZ The 9th as the post-survival-show-pre-CODE-show.
That's where the poll comes in. Let us know what we should react to first and for how long, and we'll follow that recommendation before continuing with SKZ Code.
And since we're putting this poll here for Tier 2 and up, every video reaction apart from SKZ Code that are related to this poll WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR tier 2 as well!

But I def agree with everyone else to watch the family episodes first, and that you should include “1 Kids Room”, “2 Kids Room”, “🩶 Kids Room”, “Two Kids Song”, and “2 Kids Room + 1 Room”

2023-12-05 16:11:39 +0000 UTCI do think maybe not the entire Two Kids sagas (There are like 5 versions of it now and its all interpersonal relationships), but maybe the "♥ Kids Room" and DEFINITELY the "Two Kids Song", it's just them all messing around creating things and it's great. (The Howl in Harmony should wait until you get to the NoEasy album since it's their unit songs). Their Chuseok Episodes from last year are also definitely worth a watch, trying to get them to play a game with with no speaking English had me dying laughing. The thing with the Pre-Code reality stuff is it's all OT9, and no shade to the 9-member version but the group dynamics kinda shifted when he left. There are def fun episodes and clips from back then that survive around, and it's fun to go back and watch these literal stray children navigate around and do fun things, but it's not super necessary for understanding modern SKZ as we know them now. And there are 3(4 cuz the 3rd is two parts) episodes of SKZ family now with their Chuseok episodes this year. I don't think that the SKZ family episodes are super tied into anything pre-SKZ-Code, so you can probably watch those independently. The first SKZ family episode is the second to last episode of the 9th anyway (S5 EP3), then SKZ goes to 8 and SKZ code begins a bit later. Lots of callbacks to the SKZ family dynamics and memes, but no deep lore or anything. There are though also some small little series in the middle of the seasons of the 9th that are cute too. I hate that their playlists are not sorted oldest first and you have to click backwards to watch things in order, but that might just be a "fun quirk" of mine lmao. I will agree with all of the above comments, the 2 Kids Room etc etc is a great series as well, though for my personal preference I love SKZ Code. Maybe do both at the same time, if possible? Many of the early "Kids" series are really short

2023-12-05 12:41:03 +0000 UTCI agree with most of these comments. 2 Kids Room, 2 Kids +1 Room, 2 Kids Song, ♡Kids Room, and 1 Kids room definitely let you see their personalities a lot more than the 9th. Don't get me wrong - the 9th definitely has some awesome things in it but, like a lot of comments said, you'll see the Skz dynamic and how they interact/relate to each other more with the episodes of mentioned. They should be in order I think? On the Stray Kids channel? I would definitely recommend doing those in order because it's fun to watch them grow up through these series. BUT, yes, Skz family first bc it's hilarious and then Skz Code and the Room series simultaneously? Idk. You guys could really do 1 or 2 Skz Code episodes together (ones that go together) and then 4 or 5 episodes of the Room/Song series together (they're much shorter, only about 10 mins on average I think). Oh! And Finding Stray Kids - maybe consider doing those in a timeline with the albums they go with? I.e. GOD edition with Go Live (God's Menu) and the GET edition with Maxident (Case 143). Any way you do it, I think you both will enjoy the ride that is Stray Kids content!

2023-12-05 10:40:21 +0000 UTCi think the most important ones are the first two skz family episodes bc it's probably what's most referenced (who's paired with whom and their assigned couple names/dynamics that often come up - like in the money catcher part of kingdom week where han and hyunjin claim the room with the best view xP) there's a ton of fun stuff in the 9th (and it's always nostalgic to see how young they were) that can be caught up with later on i think.not any less relevant although less long but another show to check out would be "finding skz"! there are three seasons iirc: finding skz (here is a playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?app=desktop&list=PLRZBydIeH0x-8rlLOQndlzd9HdN-eD_Y9#:~:text=For%20full%20episodes%20(with%20English,the%20end%20of%20each%20episode. ) it is very disjointed and very short with the added/bonus clips stuck in there but i believe it was due to both the group being still rookie and the format of the show back then on vlive i think (also it has the famous jeongin egg incident that is referred to at the end of the maknae on top mv if i recall well xP) finding skz god edition [because god's menu era] (here https://strayksubs.com/finding-skz-god-edition/ ) and finding skz get edition [case 143 era] (link to the first episode https://youtu.be/zt2Aa5QAIlM?si=j0tePj2CoS8cA9E7 and the other two episodes should pop up in the recs :3) but yeah, overall, watching the first two skz family eps should be good enough for you to be on the same page when the guys make refs x3

The 9th can be saved for later (give ya some breathing time from the survival show lol). I do think it's worth watching - there are some really funny things that happen and some insights between the boys. While 2 Kids Room series does show a lot, the 9th is also special and still deserves a watch. They may no longer be 9, but our 8 boys are still in that show too. I'm also a completionist though - I want to watch everything! lol

2023-12-05 09:10:56 +0000 UTCFor getting to know the kids, I'd also say go for the two kids room series (one/two(+1)/❤️ kids room/song/show(currently airing)). As for skz family, the office skit ect., I'd watch them where they chronologically fit in with skz code for context. There's some years between the family episodes, and I really feel it should be watched like that to get a feel for the change in characters. The 9th is sweet and I recommend it, and though it's not really necessary to watch it first, it might be odd to go back to later, as these five seasons are for the five albums woojin was a part of.

2023-12-05 08:05:31 +0000 UTC영어가 익숙하지 않아서 한글로 써요! 말씀하신대로 멤버 간의 캐릭터나 역학을 보시려면, 투키즈룸 시리즈나 원키즈룸 시리즈를 보시는 걸 추천해요. 사실 단체 예능에서는 다 같이 있을 때 누가 어떤 역할을 하는지 볼 수 있어서 좋지만, 그 기저에 있는 상호 관계 등을 이해하시려면 키즈룸 시리즈가 더 적합할 것 같아요. 개인적인 추천으로는 원키즈룸 시리즈를 보신 후에 투키즈룸 보시는 것을 추천합니다. 원키즈룸은 한 멤버에 대해서 다른 멤버들이 코멘트를 해주는 내용이예요. 2~3년 전 이라 지금과는 약간 다른 부분이 있긴 하지만 기본적인 멤버 성향을 이해하시는데는 좋을 것 같습니다. 투키즈룸은 멤버들이 2명씩 짝지어서 이야기하는건데 2018년부터 2022년까지 시리즈가 많아서 조합별로 모아서 보시는 것도 추천합니다. 그럼 관계의 발전과 성장을 한번에 볼 수 있거든요! (슼둥가족 시리즈는 그냥 보셔도 재미있긴 하지만 멤버간 역학을 알고 보셔야 더 재미있는 부분들이 있어서 제안드려봅니다!)

However, the thing with a lot of skz content is that different shows overlap each other chronologically, and there's really a lot of them, so I don't think it's necessary to watch them in strict chronological order. Personally, I'd say finish SKZ Code now that you've started it, and then go back to the 9th, and would additionally recommend watching Finding SKZ at some point, as it's hilarious.

I personally like the idea of going back and forth between past and present in the way this channel does to see their growth

2023-12-05 07:09:44 +0000 UTCI don't think it really matters a lot, however watching (at least the first) skz family episode can help understand some of the inside jokes that might come out throughout skz code. Personally I don't know if I would recommend watching both family episodes after one another. For me, I quite liked having some time pass between each episode, made it actually feel a little like a family reunion :p. I remember watching some of the 9th, but as Greslien has said, subtitles were not always available. I'm trying to remember but I think I may have watched them with subs on bilibili, but it's been a while.
