I know that Felix had a line of "nine or none" and that was changed in the OT8 version. Of course, some changes as well in re-recording Woojin's part. I don't remember if they changed those lyrics because usually when they redid a 3Racha song, all the members wrote their own lyrics for it so they wouldn't want Woojin's lyrics from the original still in the song.

I love that in the 3racha version we get a little bit of bang Chan’s rap cause I absolutely love when he raps. Which now it makes sense why the song 3racha was my number one song for 2023’s Spotify wrapped. Also the video for the stray kids version is always one of my favorites cause I love seeing them goof off but also Felix and Chan just look so happy and are having so much fun being home, especially because that was their first time home in years. I think for Chan it had been like 7 or 8 years since he’d been back to Australia. And you just see how happy both of them are to be showing the members around and stuff. I think a big reason they don’t do street versions anymore is due to their success a lot of these were made when they still weren’t very well known overseas and so they could go around filming themselves and stuff and walk around without being bombarded by fans constantly. However now they have so many more fans from all around the world and it makes it so much harder to just walk around without fans coming up to them. Like you’ll see now that even if it’s just one member or a few of the members when they’re out and walking around they always wear masks and hats and stuff and they still get attention from fans. I believe a few of them went to Disneyland with Hannah (Chan’s sister) and fans spotted them. Or when chan and Felix went back to Australia for a little and were walking around and got ice cream even though they had masks and hats on and stuff fans came up to them and said hi or saw them from a far and stuff. So as much as I’d love to get more street versions of videos in the future I don’t think it’s likely to happen.

Oddly enough I really like the dark string sounds from the 3racha version but brightening it up for the added members was definitely the way to go. I wish they would do street versions again but they’d have to do it low key somewhere else cuz I’m afraid they will be recognized these days. I thought I was done I’m not….to follow up on the f the haters….I’m so so proud of them for staying true to themselves. It’s scary to not go with the crowd when you’re scrutinized for being different. They have achieved so much by not conforming to the “normal”

2023-12-05 01:37:46 +0000 UTCI love this song so much! I also find the 3RACHA version much darker, but even in the street version there is sort of this undertone of... I don't know how to explain it. It just always leaves me feeling a mixture of wistfulness, bitterness and determination, but I couldn't say why. It also always throws me off with the street version because I'm used to the 0T8 version on my playlist haha. It's always so fun to listen to the differences though. I really wish they'd do another street version of a song. Them goofing about, the stares and double-takes from the strangers, it's always so funny.

2023-12-04 21:17:17 +0000 UTCThis is actually one of the songs I try to avoid because I get SO emotional whenever I listen to it...and when I visited Sydney for their concert back in February and stood right next to the opera house, where they recorded the video I just lost it in the middle of the day right there. I don't know, I think one can just hear all the emotion they put in this and it gets me every time. The way Chan looks just so happy in the MV, like, all the 'kids' in his hometown together with him, now HE can show THEM where he grew up and they are so incredibly happy together with this song and the lyrics...idk. And don't get me started on the live version of this, oh god. I love it, but I can not listen to it as often as I'd wish I could ... :D

Lee Know and his versatile voice kills me. Like, i did not think that was him really singing at first. Thank you for talking about the correct lyrics. I would have never known if not for you. Also idk if you guys have ever seen their current light stick but it has a compass in it.

2023-12-04 19:47:47 +0000 UTCi think a lot of lyric videos for original 3RACHA tracks were made around the time they were released, over 6 years ago by people who were just predebut fans. My guess is those songs didn't even have official lyrics for the video makers to go off of (basing this off of no lyrics on the official soundcloud or youtube uploads), and they were basically transcribing by ear. On one hand, props to them for doing that but at the same time, a little less helpful for those watching nowadays because the translations when the lyrics aren't even complete end up being sooooo off. Regardless, this is my favorite of the mixtapes, but I actually surprisingly enjoy the 3RACHA version just a tiny bit more.

2023-12-04 19:11:38 +0000 UTCYeah, I try to avoid the lyric videos sometimes because either the lyrics are wrong or the translations are off or the lines are attributed wrong, especially if it's a Bside or a 3racha song, it just takes me out of into a rabbit hole of analysis. Props to them for trying and I'm sure its a fair amount of work, just my feelings about it. Also, Chan singing his part live hits different. He puts so much emotion behind it, you can tell it's personal finally getting to be "the captain of his own group/dream".
