we LOVE both songs (we consider this a single song, really).
It is BEAUTIFUL. AND there are so many interesting aspects to it, given how the first track is essentially a narration with the second song slowly building itself to come in right after.
Apologies for the mic issue but it should be fine in terms of audibility! This is the only one with such an issue so you won't see any other vids like this :)
Anyways, like we say in the video, PLEASE let us know (without completely shattering our minds) what FEVER basically represents here and how it may fit into the ATEEZ lore! :D

2023-12-04 17:57:29 +0000 UTCMy thoughts on the Diary entry is its coming from a girl in Strictland who was recently “woken” and is talking about feeling things the first time. This may be referenced somewhere in the diary entries, I’ll have to go back and check, but just re-listening to it while going through the World Series, to me it makes sense. I LOVE Fever. The intro is one of my favorites; how it continues to build and get brighter until Mingi’s rap. I feel like it’s a representation of what “feeling emotions” would be. It starts small but then it grows and builds. Feelings of happiness and hope.

2023-12-01 19:46:44 +0000 UTCFor me, Fever is an emotional lead-in to Turbulence (first track on the Zero:Fever Epilogue album)... and this is in part due to the use of "mayday" here, since Turbulence is built around an airplane/flight theme (both the song and the MV). My personal interpretation ~ Basically, youth rushes into things in a feverish way but also tends to experience things that are confusing. It's like going to a theme park that's on a platform which rocks unsteadily without any predictable rhythm... you can still experience all the rides you want and even go on them multiple times, but you'll also spend a good part of your time trying to find decent footing and figure out how to make it safely from one place to the next. Even with an overhead map of the park, there's no guarantee that you'll be able to navigate your way without issue. Eventually you just have to let go of the idea that you can do things in a smooth way... instead, enjoy the good moments as they come and use the harsh ones to help you grow stronger.

2023-11-30 06:39:09 +0000 UTCI have no fucking clue what this song is about, but sort of opposite to Han-C, it feels kind of like a plane crash to me. Except in a good, cathartic way? I think the one time Hongjoong sang "mayday" here had more impact with me than it was supposed to. When it gets stuck in my head, since I only understand the English bits, my brain imagines the "mayday" and then Mingi's "no more no more" bit and then when I get to "so I gotta let it go" it feels like just gently falling. Anyway, this is one of my Ateez favorites, and this entire album is - I just think you're in for a lovely time. It's so good. So, so good.
