It's fine. It's all good. But it's not. We don't know what to think.
You will see what we mean through our reaction :').
You know if you've seen it. You have. Let's finish this up and go back to our lives with SKZ, all together.

Trouble is that Stray Kids don’t tend to produce the kind of music that suits their main vocalists, who have gentler voices. So Han comes in, being the one who can deliver the kind of range and volume demanded. Thus the others can look like “sub-vocalists”. It’s a problem that got sorted out over time as the singers became stronger and the range of writing became wider. Funnily enough, the second strongest singer after Han is Felix. Completely different range, but you never hear him off key. Whatever the reason he left, Woojin was also a severe loss. And Hyunjin being star struck in this episode is so adorable!

2024-04-06 17:43:40 +0000 UTCI feel like the advice from Jinyoung and JayB were more valuable than the advice that JYP gave them, because they're actively promoting as a group, where JYP, while he has a great eye for things, has never been in a group. It's easy to give stage advice and to point out issues that need fixed, but as far as actually getting in the practice room and working on those issues as a team, I don't know that he's as reliable a resource.

2023-12-07 16:56:31 +0000 UTCI feel like, whether it was JYP's idea or BamBam's idea, it was a very good idea for BamBam to go visit Chan after Felix's elimination. As you said, it's very hard when your friend debuts before you, or when you have to leave a friend behind to move forward. It was good for Channie to be reminded that, even if he was going to debut without Felix, their bond would still be there, and just like Channie, Felix and LeeKnow would likely have another chance, even if they couldn't debut together. Obviously that isn't what ended up happening, but it was good for his psyche, because he was really, REALLY torn up about it. It was borderline survivor's guilt.

2023-12-07 16:03:57 +0000 UTCHAHAHAHA not the way you guys ACTUALLY censored JYP's face! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

2023-11-27 03:50:31 +0000 UTCI was just trying not to cry (again! I thought I was done...) and then D'Some has to go and ask "Who's Yongbok?" 😶😒 (at least, I think that's what he said...that's what it felt like he said... and now I'm more sad. :'( )

2023-11-21 04:26:13 +0000 UTCI have such a complicated relationship with this show because I get that its purpose was to bring publicity and build a fanbase for Stray Kids to debut with and make people engaged and get to know them- and it does do that. However it does it very brutally and in a way that feels very traumatic to the members involved. Like, Chan has been a trainee for 7 years, he's seen so many people leave or debut and he very much knows that sometimes it just doesn't happen. To tell the group they are the rookie group and going to debut- and then suddenly be like, actually maybe not is emotional whiplash. I can understand the logic that since the team was entirely self made the company needs to check it, since it's clear that picked Stray Kids as a debut team without JYP even knowing what their music sounded like (obviously other staff must have known enough to suggest they become rookie candidates). But it feels like instead of emphasising those elements the show took the route of having the drama that the team may get remade instead- which ironically takes away slightly their completely unique self made marketing element. They could have done that a different way-perhaps having a reserve list where members got removed but with that caveat that if they can improve their skills by the end they get a second chance- and maybe following their individual training a little more. You still create the tension but without the same emotional devastation of breaking their mentality entirely. I can logically understand the choices- but my main issue with how they do this show is Chan. Chan simultaneously has so much pressure put on him as leader, producer, talent scout- he's doing the job of like 3 professionals whilst also trying to debut himself at 19/20- whilst having the eliminations hugely target and undermine his confidence and sense of self. No group (to my knowledge) had been self made like this before, so every elimination is almost a direct 'you failed' to Chan, not only that he picked someone 'unprepared' but that he was responsible for promising that person their dreams and causing them to suffer losing them because he promoted them too early. The amount of stress he is under is incredible. You can see after Minho's elimination he still doesn't entirely believe it's permanent, and the kids keep mentioning him like they hope there will be a second chance- but Felix, eliminating Felix pulls that hope away and makes it seem like not this is 100% for real no second chances. The hope disappears from Chan and that kind of mental stress is supremely damaging long term. There were definitely ways they could have created a similar emotional engagement without doing that mental damage. Chan is an incredibly special gem to have, and they could have used this process to help him shine- criticise but also stress the unique exciting points. Instead you ended up with a 20 year old who already feels he needs to seek forgiveness from the members he needs to lead. We could all love the kids just as much without it starting by feeling the need to protect them like this I feel.

2023-11-20 23:29:08 +0000 UTCI'm truly loving D-some's energy in this entire series haha. JYP serious pissed all of us off so much, and its so validating to see D-some be so angry as well! 2023-11-16 05:02:10 +0000 UTCI'm impressed you mentioned that the parents/family of I.N. are so supportive. YES!!! Family is the most essential key to an artist's success. All of the SKZ member's families believed in them, giving them the self-esteem to reach their dream since they were young. So they wouldn't waste their lifetime many years before getting a chance to do what they want. Maybe I'm different. I enjoyed this Survival show and understood that JYP must play an evil role to push SKZ out of their limitations. And he hasn't threatened them for too long and let them smile together again. Anyway, it's very entertaining to see your aggressive + hilarious reaction simultaneously, like you guys were on a rollercoaster.

2023-11-14 05:47:44 +0000 UTCHere I am 21 hours later 😹😂. I genuinely love when D'some was so mad when Jyp was talking to Minho and Felix. Your little "uh huh uh huh, yah, really? I wonder why" HAD ME ROLLING!! "You're such a professional! D'some I adore you so much. Y'all make my day always. I was over here tearing up, again, bcuz seeing the boys smile and be happy just made me so happy. Also the music didn't help. And then Jisung says thank you god, really thank you JYP and D'some says don't do that. I cracked up bcuz the first time i watched this i also felt some type of way when he said that. Like i scrunched my nose and rolled my eyes and everything. 😂😹🤣😂😹🤣. D'some..."shut the hell up" YESSSSS. YOU TELL HIM D'SOME. The moment of silence when you turned off the computer 😂 and then your confusion when Han said love you pdnim 😹🤣😹 yall are comedy gold. Okay now on to watch the kingdom week video 🫰🏾

2023-11-13 23:43:27 +0000 UTCI believe it was on Reddit that there were a lot of angry calls. They started when Lee Know was eliminated. Personally, I stand with Changbin in never forgive JYP.

2023-11-13 19:20:42 +0000 UTCI.N has talked about how formal his family is, so his default is to be quite formal. And yeah, he's the middle child. Older brother is a couple years older and the younger is 6 years younger. :)

2023-11-13 17:57:54 +0000 UTCI have always personally wondered if it was just to generate press around them and for the group. Like he knew he would let them back in at the end anyway if the public outcried about them being gone. Because the way the public rallied around having skz debut as 9 together was kinda crazy despite having "passable" reasons for elimination. The training thing kinda makes sense, but if that was the reason I'm not sure why he couldn't have at least told Chan, someone who JYP does at least trust and respect (at least enough to form his own complete group and continues to trust with their discography and stuff). I'm sure he thought his reasons were good and I am sure he didn't think about the damage that could do, which imo is a part of the problem.

2023-11-13 16:52:26 +0000 UTCI have seen a lot of people in other places that say that JYP probably eliminated Lee Know and Felix so they could train without having to do the show. What makes me mad is that, if that is the reason, it is clear that he didn't let any of them know, and it was very real to them.

2023-11-13 15:23:07 +0000 UTCDefinitely a big ‘up yours’ to JYP for what he did to these kids, traumatising them all like that, I really hate that Lix an Lee Know were eliminated. However I also think it gave the two of them time to work on what they were “lacking” without the pressure of the weekly or bi weekly missions…. Kinda, I mean I have no idea how much time was between lix’s elimination and JYP bring him back. I found it both heart warming and heart breaking how Channie counted the kids and was like ‘where are the others?’ And he had to be reminded that they’d been eliminated, but by god that smile/gaze full of warmth and caring he had on his face when looking at all of his kids back together again… agh! Best Leader Ever!

2023-11-13 08:53:21 +0000 UTCAbout Hyunjin's school, as you looked confused, he attended the SOPA like I.N , this is why you see him going to a dance classroom department :3

2023-11-13 06:29:26 +0000 UTCI may have said this in a previous comment, but I hold true (and thank you so much for covering him a few times lol) that JYP's hair is just terrible. It distracts me every time, and not in a good way. (feels like that is a comment he made...) Man needed a serious haircut. He's like a hedgehog that got a really bad cut. I don't know if cutting Felix and Minho or bringing them back was his idea or not, or Mnet's producers. Mnet would want the drama. I don't know JYP at all outside of this show, so I can't base much on that. Who knows if he was truly wanting to cut them, or Mnet said, look you gotta cut a couple - bring em back later, that's fine, but we need drama. Who knows. If it's Mnet - F Mnet. If it's JYP, F JYP. I'm all right with tossing those at all of 'em!

2023-11-13 06:05:47 +0000 UTCThank y’all so much for blurring out his face☺️. Nah but yall reactions are so genuine and I agree with the hatred for JYP in the episodes😂

2023-11-13 05:39:07 +0000 UTCI loved your reaction to this ep, the hedgehog edit cracks me up each time. Love it! I am so glad you have watched this show because it really does show so much of what the guys went through , even though it was planned for tv. Like, when I.N. calls his family, of course, some producer told him to do that but they are so genuine and sweet that it is clear what kind of family they are. This show is super hard to watch but also I have really enjoyed watching it again with you guys. And the swearing in Korean part was very fun and I skipped back and watched it again :) love that swearing at JYP lol

2023-11-13 05:30:29 +0000 UTCOmg watching D'Some get so angry at JYP is cathartic... I've watched a few other reactors watch these parts, and they're always like "oh, he has to think about the company, oh, he's got good points, oh, he's harsh but fair..." like no, he's a dick. He's milking their stress and pain for views. Good business yes, good guy no.

2023-11-13 05:09:29 +0000 UTCright!! I feel like it's an anxiety that only some of the members are truly overcoming now... the depths of their insecurity, bravado and just... fear... kpop is just shy of child-abuse at times when it comes to mental games (and that's putting aside the actual claims of abuse etc etc). There is a reason though why KPop artists are THE BEST in the world, but I truly pray that companies are finding better, healthier ways to inspire greatness in their kids. Especially given how large the fanbase of the genre as a whole has become.

2023-11-13 03:46:24 +0000 UTCI (perhaps sadly haha) sent you a wall of text of a message about this episode, but to sum up my thoughts specifically to this episode, I must say, throughout this series, I found it very inspiring just how many went to Changbin and how willing he was to listen to the members and give them his honest feedback and just help them however he could. Truly, SKZ wouldn't be SKZ without 3RACHA as the backbone. Those 3 just bring in a different element that anyone could relate to and find motivation from. While I don't know many boy groups all that well, or even KPop as a whole all that well, I don't know of ANY group (East, West, South or North) that has something as special as 3Racha when it comes to groundwork (am happy to learn though, so please don't take this comment as a diss against any group!!)

2023-11-13 03:43:50 +0000 UTCI honestly wish they wouldn’t have put them through this struggle in the first place. I understand it was to help them grow as trainees but it breaks my heart knowing how hurt they must have been in order to keep fighting/training nonstop
