[Tier 3] ATEEZ - Star 1117 (Lyrics+MCountdown) & Outro : Long Journey

We got three things here today - Star 1117 Lyrics video, the M Countdown live version, & Outro : Long Journey video - to wrap up the album!

Beautiful song - we talk about everything we need to in the video so we'll keep this one short.

But again, do let us know your thoughts on whether we should go for the Japanese album or just jump to the one after like we did last time. Of course, we WILL eventually return to the Japanese album, even if you tell us to skip it for now, so no worries there :)

Enjoy <3

Just a fun extra bonus for y’all to see ATEEZ and ATINY….Hello82 did a surprise at one of their tour stops with ATINY gifting ATEEZ a video and Star 1117. https://youtu.be/_SGXMrZrwjg?si=niyysOQGPa21bDDD

You should definitely find on yt a suprise Atinys prepared for Ateez using that song and Ateez reaction to that... 😅 just for yourselves 😁

Adding: the Outro is wrapping the album and is also following the story line. The song you heard won’t actually be heard until much much later… Also, Fever series has the Diary Film which I HIGHLY recommend watching beforehand bc there are some concepts that will make more sense since you’ve already seen some of the later title tracks. 😉

I’m not a ballad person, really at all. But, I love ATEEZ’s ballads. I have always felt they have an “edge” to them and you pinpointed to me why, bc it’s the instruments and the way they use them that is untraditional. Leave it to them to change it all on their head. The Fever series actually have some of the most beautiful ballads. The only thing worth listening to on the Japanese album is Declaration (IMO). You heard part of it in the beginning of Answer, but it’s a beautiful instrumental track. If you don’t want to listen to it by itself, they used it to open Fireworks for the tour and is accompanied by contemporary dance from San and Wooyoung. https://youtu.be/qVlKo21VV-0?si=I_lEwnD3qKjem9Ou. Speaking of contemporary choreo….if you haven’t seen SAN’s Warrior performance yet, it’s 🔥. There’s a lot of people theorizing on it too…

I'm on the "skip the Japanese album" train, especially since you've already heard Declaration... go for starting the Fever series so you can continue taking in everything you can in the storyline before the next comeback drops on you.

Nikole

I say skip the Japanese album for now and go right into the next album.

Oh, PLEASE watch and react to this!!! It was incredibly moving and special after Covid when they could properly tour again.

This song will always have a special place in the hearts of Atiny. Hello 82 did a special gift for Ateez at the end of the Break the Wall tour in North America. https://youtu.be/CZHpuP5FIoM?si=V_Ioe9dwiVR8fHQI

The outro at the end give you a sneak peek of Sector 1’s beginning.

I get so excited for every one your ATEEZ reactions. I vote for skipping (for now) the Japanese album this time around, too.

Drava

I think you can do the Japanese album now since the name is related. But continuing straight into the next album could also be good. Or perhaps you guys can react to the Japanese albums separately altogether after catching up with the albums

I love this song for so many reasons, especially because of what y’all said: it’s a traditional ballad that has a bunch of unusual facets in it, yet still maintains that sound that invites the listener into this beautiful experience. Another reason is it’s one of the songs where we have every member singing, including even Mingi opening the song and showing that he has that beautiful low voice. To me, having every member sing, even the rappers, is kind of like an additional gift to fans, like, “Here: this isn’t something we normally do and it may not be the role we’re the most comfortable in, but we’ll show you this side of us too.” Y’all are right about how much Ateez appreciates their fans, too- I’ve seen some groups come close, but perhaps it’s because they came from a small company, and had to build themselves up from scratch, that they appreciate the love they get so much. They take any chance they get to remind us that they’re grateful we’re on the long journey with them, and it makes me think well of them as people as well as artists. Last thing? This song is indeed incredibly satisfying to sing- it’s one of my favorites! Everything flows naturally, just like you said. Well, the melody. Going from Mingi’s opening notes to Jongho’s high notes is a little less natural but ya know. A girl does her best.

Seonghwa has said this at different times over the years, and he's an interesting guy for sure, that he views himself as the universe which is dark and cold, until the stars were born to give it light and they see Atiny as those stars. Hence Star 1117, after Atiny Day on 11/17.

Kim

Atiny Day (the day we got our name) is November 17, so that's why it's 1117, it is a song for Atiny.
