2023-11-12 13:14:04 +0000 UTCThis episode is my fave out of all the series! They're just sooo hilarious hahah and Minho's lower body strenght is no joke. Also, since you mentioned SMTM, just wanted to give you some context, as I was watching it live when it aired 3 years ago (and it would be amazing if you could react to it! They're 2 short videos). So basically, Changbin took part to the first two rounds of SMTM9. He passed the first round (you HAVE TO WATCH IT it's SOOO GOOD) with a short freestyle rap, much shorter than the other contestants, but he NAILED it. It's the performance that was shown in this ep of Buddy Catcher and that Wooyoung, being Changbin's bestie, knows by heart. Then he took part to the second round and in the clip you can see both Binnie's and Wooseok from Pentagon's performances (they were the only 2 idols who tried out the selection). The second round consisted of a 1 min original rap performance/song (with music this time) and Changbin re-used his verse from a 3RACHA song, Scene Stealer, whose lyrics were super fitting for SMTM. Unfortunately he got too nervous, lost the rithm and his rap performance got a bit messed up, so he got cut after 30 seconds. The general consensus among Stays is that he wasn't in the best shape, as SKZ were in the mid of Back Door's promotion and he was of course very tired, so he probably caved to the pressure. Obviously the fact that he was an idol (and we all know that idol rappers aren't well seen but the khh community) didn't help. I know that reactors reacting to reactors, in a sense, it's a bit unheard of, but in a 7 min video Car Kpop manages to dissect Changbin's failed performance, by comparing it with the 3Racha version. I personally can't imagine SKZ rerecording an album and changing tour dates for no reason. Bang Chan is the kindest man, so the fact he never spoke in defense of Woojin says it all to me. But, once again, purely my opinion. No one needs to agree with me. Well, except that Stray Kids are amazing. 😁

Looking at it from now, the whole situation seems fishy to me and I, honestly, don't like Woojin. But there are things, like the Skz family, what started out with him so i don't know how to ignore that. Do we just skip the first part and go straight to the 3rd anniversary?

Second, the "married couple" and "sister-in-law" are from their Stay 3rd Anniversary Skz Family episodes. It also comes up a lot in SKZ Code and randomly, lol. It's the inside joke of inside jokes!! Hopefully, you guys will be able to check them out!! You'd die from laughing so much!! That was golden. lol I'm so excited for this as I think it's really your first time seeing them together (after debut!) and how much fun they have. You got a sneak peek at SKZ Family (Hyunjin/Han as a couple). I can't wait for you to check those all out. They are absolutely hilarious. Plus there's SKZ Code, and Finding SKZ, 2 Kids' Room, 1 Kid's Room, 2 Kids' +1 Room, SKZ Talker, The Ninth, etc. So much content! lol (and that's not including the songs and dance practices, and stages, etc.) I was excited by the match between Changbin and Lee Know. I wonder how it would go now though - Changbin buffed up even more. But it was also about balance and leverage, not just raw strength. Changbin is my ult bias, so I would root for him no matter what. lol :)
