...this is our reaction to SKZ Social Path, after finishing the main tracks from Yellow Wood before going to the Mixtapes. Was supposed to be a bridge but it was a meteor that broke the bridge and destroyed us instead.

As a fun note, SKZ have been studying Japanese for quite a while, a few of them are pretty much fluent. Chan actually speaks in dialect a lot because he learned mostly from Sana (who is one of his best friends) and Twice's Japanese members as a trainee. Han also picked up Japanese from living with some Japanese trainees, and Lee Know studies it seriously so the three of them are pretty fluent with the other members all having a decent level. Chan's livestreams can be very fun sometimes because he'll talk to himself in a range of English, Korean, and Japanese at times. Han and Chan have a basic knowledge of Mandarin from what we've seen, and Felix is studying Mandarin and French. They really try hard with languages and their attitude is so impressive and encouraging to someone like me who grew up English speaking where most people stopped studying languages after school and there isn't that same culture of learning.

But D'some i love when you get hype. I feel like your reactions are more reserved and you get very very analytical so i love seeing you get super excited and even speechless during some of these videos. Yea i didnt know who Lisa was when i went into this song but she did not disappoint. She held her own and i honestly felt myself wanting to hear more of her on the song. This was such a beautiful collab. Y'all are so freaking precious. I ADORE your reactions so much. This specific video had me smiling so much 😸😸. I can't speak for everyone else but social path kinda came in the middle of so many things happening with SKZ. Like i LOVE this song but i think it came out in September and as a new stay i was getting ready for the boys bday, the vma's and voting, still getting ready for global citizens it was very chaotic for me. Again i cant speak for anyone else. However this song goes SO HARD and the choreo is sick. But the lyrics to social path was written by 3racha and that honestly hit me hard bcuz the lyrics are quite melancholic and deep. They went through some shit and the lyrics show it. I.N's part in the second verse hurt so much bcuz all i picture is a sad and depressed Channie and i am so immensely proud of him for not giving up and I'm happy that he found his 7 kids. Also the thing that Han was talking about at the end was actually Changbin. He was gonna audition as a singer but his vocal coach recommended going as a rapper bcuz of his unique tone. And honestly either way he would have slayed the auditions. But thank you for this reaction. I genuinely love seeing you both fanboy over SKZ 🫶🏾

She is an anime OST goddess when they announced they were doing a collab I was absolutely stoked for it. Also a lot of the lyrics are based off Bang Chan’s journey of becoming an idol. How he left home at like 14 to be a trainee at JYP, trained 7 years, saw friends debut or leave while he continued to train and the loneliness that came with it, finding the skz members, almost losing two of them, debuting and finally getting to the point they are now being super successful. Chan really did give up his youth for his future and for his dream. As for the member that auditioned as a singer it was Changbin he originally auditioned as a vocalist but his vocal teacher said his tone and pronunciation would really work well for rap and so he ended up becoming a rapper.

I feel like a lot of groups when they do a song featuring another artist it almost feels like they were added as an afterthought and more of a publicity thing. With Stray Kids it really feels like they make the effort to really showcase the other artist. A song you guys should check out that Stray Kids are featured on is All My Life by Lil Durk. 2023-11-05 00:37:22 +0000 UTCChangbin is the one that wanted to be a dancer first, then had to take either a rap or vocal class with the dance class so chose vocal. His teacher said he should try rap because of his vocal tone. But I believe this was before he got admitted to JYP. It was after he worked on his rap (he said he was really bad when he started heh) and improved is when he joined JYP. I believe Han was always into rap? I'm not sure. I know after SKZ debuted (I don't know if it was before or after Woojin left) that Han took some vocal classes to improve his singing which also helped him in writing songs for more vocal heavy parts because they were more rap heavy in the beginning.

Chan and Lee Know taking on part A of the chorus (both having brighter/warmer voices) leads perfectly into part B with LiSA's incredibly sharp/full voice that pierces through and then both times right after, Felix's depth creates this amazing rollercoaster of sound. SKZ performed with LiSA on a Japanese music show, but the video is not currently available online. There is also the recording video from their JP album that a fan dubbed. I have listened to a few of her songs since this release. Their vocals together just work beautifully!!!
