It's really impossible to think of the song and the dance as separate things, the choreo is always in my mind when I hear the song, just like with Back Door...the movement is inseparable from the music, because it's literally the music made visual. Absolutely beyond awesome. Watch all the versions you want, you could analyze this song for *days* there are so many components. And we will happily watch you watch them!!

Yunho gets lifted up and they used this dance in their tour. So I saw it at the concert in Brussels. Wooyoung and Seonghwa's harmonisation gives me goosebumps each time. Especially live. The 1117 in Star 1117 is Hongjoong's birthday 17 November. Maybe you can upload the reaction then! It's just around the corner!

2023-11-04 14:52:45 +0000 UTCI love this song. Who am I kidding? I love all their songs. Anyway... moving on to the point I was going to make. The sea-faring theme definitely sits heavily in this one. It gives the feeling of being aboard the ship, sailing toward the horizon, the open space of the ocean around you... but that feeling will change slightly depending on variable factors like time of day, temperature, weather, strength and even direction of the wind, shifting tides, and on and on. Taking all of that into account, it's genius for them to have changed it up so much in this one song, because it really feels like it covers the gamut of what they might face in their journey. "Horizon" is also a reminder that while there might appear to be an end in sight, they (and we) will never actually reach the horizon itself. It's all just perspective. The end is quite simply where we choose to stop, but the horizon will always be there to beckon us forward once more. Dance Practice vids do usually have lower volume overall. Honestly, if it's a song I really want to hear well, I just crank the volume way high and then hate myself 20 minutes later when I forget to lower it before opening up another reaction or drama episode. The choreo here is another great example where the nautical theme has been looked at for inspiration. It's definitely present all over the place in their dances. I get what you mean about the choreo enhancing the song. I feel the same way about several of their tracks. Do AS MANY LIVE STAGES of "Horizon" as you want, because I will watch the heck out of all of them. I love their stages in general, and this one is always such a great watch for me.

Hope because the horizon lies ahead and we can always aim for reaching our furthest potential... reverence for what is yet unknown and unseen... and the bittersweet knowledge that we can't actually reach the horizon because there is no true "end". At least, that would be my interpretation of the feelings you get for it, based on how it hits me :)

It's like not knowing exactly what went into a series of smoothies that are all a little different from the one before, and yet every one of them tastes like heaven and is somehow complete. So yeah. ATEEZ make musical smoothies.

I felt a sort of hope, reverence, and bittersweetness if that makes any sense. The best way i can describe it is that feeling you get when you breathe the first morning chill on a winter day. And now any time i listen to the song it transports me. You said the song space was larger because of the way they structured this song, and i couldn't agree more. Enveloping the listener.

Also you gotta love Yeosang with his Ronald McDonald,/Winnie the Pooh/Chucky outfit nailing every single beat in the chorus hehe. But yeah BBTripping are really strong choreographers and it shines in the Horzion choro I think, it is a JOY to watch. Would love to see you react to a live performance, maybe a music show one and a concert one (would be fine to react to a not-strictly-legal DVD rip for a Patreon video I think :P). The Anchor in Seoul concert performance that's been uploaded to YT is recent too, so it'd be fun to compare the differences hehe

Awesome.” Also, of course I’m still loving that climactic jump/lift into precise choreo of a 6’1” YunHo (at 5’1”…I’m not EXACTLY sure how hard that would be to execute? But on a scale of 1-10 I’d say… Hard) with the immediate choreographic answer by San. Just such a cool moment.
