2023-09-18 17:30:10 +0000 UTCMy favourite part of Outlaw is Mingi and Hongjoong's parts in the beginning where they use their own voices as back-up/vocal instruments. For example Hongjoong says 'suh' repeatedly in the back while rapping. Mingi says something similar. Also, it took me more than 10 listens to realise that the siren is a part of the song and not real 😂 It would be great if you guys react to the showcase version of This World. The performance is incredible!

Now I’ll go with slyly sneaking away for now with this ending song. I’m just gonna patiently wait for them to come back with some kind of loud explosion in EP. 3 🖤

There's nothing in how they've set any of it up to make me think they won't be doing an EP.3 for the series, and possibly even another to close it out. But yeah, it's the end of this album, which is really sad because it's just so good. I'm holding out hope that a comeback won't be later than April or May of next year, and that the teaser track at the end of "Bouncy" will (please please please) show up on that next EP. Watch me be wrong on both of those, but I'll live with my delusional hope until it's proven otherwise (lol). Oh, oh, oh! You don't know what to talk about because there's no anchor point... and they're pirates... and their ship keeps moving forward (so it's not just sat somewhere with the anchor dropped)... ahem, pardon my geek-out moment. I still don't have a favorite track off this album, and as soon as I think I may be able to call it my favorite album I listen to stuff from earlier ones and it's clear that I don't have a favorite album, either. They're probably the only group that'll ever do that to me, and I love them for it. I won't go into details related to the diary this time, instead... You mentioned their world-building and lore, but not whether you've read through diary entries yourselves. Just in case you haven't, here's a link: https://www.atiny.net/storyline/storyline It's not my site, but a lovely group of ATINY from across the world has worked to get a summary, glossary, and individual diary entries from Fever (all 3) and The World (EP.1 Movement only) put up for all of us to access. It doesn't take long to read through, and it definitely gives a lot of context. (There's also a ton of info there about how to support our guys with album sales and streaming, etc., for anyone who's interested in going the extra mile.) I'm not sure when they'll have the Outlaw diary up, but if it's not there when you're ready to go read through it, please let me know and I'll gladly type it up for you myself and DM it on here. (Edited to correct a few spelling mistakes since I was apparently WAY too hyped up while watching for me to type as well as I expect of myself.)

2023-09-18 12:26:37 +0000 UTCSO enjoyed this reaction- it’s funny, because I’ve never thought of it as them running away at the end, because of what musically comes right before the end, which sounds straight up like a rallying war cry- but you’re right, listening to it again, it’s like they give you a sly smile and sneak away again after accomplishing the righteous mayhem they set out to cause, so thanks for making appreciate the song even more! Another thing I love about this song that seems to imply that these guys know they’ve already won (or at least made a huge dent in the regime) is that kinda lazy way in which Mingi delivers his rap- it’s sick, I love it. So sad that our collective journey through this album is over! If I’m not mistaken, I do believe that there was an “Outlaw Showcase” in which they performed at least several of these songs, because I watched them on YouTube- if I find the links I’ll drop ‘em. Thanks for your time and your insight, as always! This is definitely one of my top albums of 2023, easy. ✌🏻 & 🩵
