i gotta be 100% honest: during my first listen of Super Bowl, the whisper took me SO off guard that it geniunely brought me to tears. I have a video of me laugh-crying because I was so bewildered. Absolutely wrecked me hahahaha

And honestly Tiger JK is a LEGEND and his rap and verse blend so seamlessly with SKZ, the video is NEXT LEVEL! I'm so excited aaahhhhh!

2023-09-07 15:58:57 +0000 UTCYes, PLEASE react to the Japanese mv of Super Bowl before moving on to Topline. Topline is absolutely ICONIC and a must-do. But, don't skip the Super Bowl JP ver mv. The mv gives the song a different feel...almost like a different interpretation of the song. PLUS, it's super cute.

2023-09-07 04:30:35 +0000 UTCI’ll never forget sitting in my office just after midnight on release and yelling “holy shit Felix!?!” out loud after the whispering part. 😂 Super Bowl is my second favorite on the album after Hall of Fame. The instrumental just hits. You’re not going to be able to relax just yet. The first 5 songs on this album are a sprint. I think I would react to the MV now unless you plan on reacting to the latest Japanese album, in which case you might want to just wait since there are only 3 songs.

At first this song supposed to be a title song in GO LIVE album, but when God's Menu demo was born, they decided to change to God's Menu with green light from JYP.

Also I say move right on to topline! It’s really just so fun to listen to I cannot recommend it enough. Also idk if y’all saw by Changbin recently released a solo song called “Fly High” as part of his Samsung campaign 😭 they really don’t wanna let y’all breathe

2023-09-06 03:50:53 +0000 UTCFirst a little background Super Bowl was the original God’s Menu this song was supposed to be the title track for Go Live and then they shelved it and instead created the God’s Menu that we all know so the God’s Menu we know and love is actually God’s menu 2.0 I’m so glad they decided to release it on this album because it’s an absolute banger and k love it. Second I personally prefer the English version of Super Bowl over the Japanese version they just released. I think for me it’s not as hard hitting as the English version but that may be due to the fact that I’ve listened to this version more and so to me it sounds weird being in English. It’s much like how I don’t like The Sound (Korean Version) as much as I enjoy the original Japanese Version. I think it’s just because it different than what I heard for so long. Third you’re about to lose it for Topline especially with Tiger JK being featured when they released it I cried the first time I heard it because I was so incredibly proud of them because Tiger JK is an absolute legend he is the Godfather of Korean hip hop and someone they all look up to especially 3racha and so for him to feature on a K-pop groups song, something he doesn’t really do, is amazing and it made me so proud of them that I literally cried. Lastly the Japanese release of Super Bowl was released on their Japanese mini album Social Path and I really recommend checking out their title song from it Social Path ft LiSA (if you don’t know who she is she sings the iconic demon slayer opening from the first season Gurenge) and as you continue to to go through all of SKZs discography I hope you will also listen to their Japanese mini albums as well because between Maxident and SKZ Replay they had their first Japanese full length album The Sound and the songs from that are absolutely amazing.
