2023-08-24 00:46:02 +0000 UTCI'm always so late catching your guys's patreon uploads. But on the 1st album listen for me Item was my number one song. Item is still my favorite song. But Hall of Fame grew on me so fast. So now item is number 1. hall of fame is number 2. Super bowl is number 3. Collision is number 4. Top line is number 5. S class is number 6. Get lit is number 7. Youtiful is number 8. DLC is number 9. The sound is number 10 timeout is number 11 and FNF is number 12. Now that's not to say that anything six and down are bad songs. They are all amazing songs but my top three are definitely item Hall of Fame and Super bowl. Han-c's face at the end of the song was absolutely priceless. But also, I get it. Because same. Item left me STUNNED. Dazed as if I was hit with a red shell 😸. Hearing Lee Knows aggressive rasp was such a gift. He matched Changbin and Felix's vibe perfectly. And of course Channie and Seungmin's vocals back to back are a treasure. Then I.N's tone just smoothes everything together. Han can literally do no wrong. I adore him. Oh and let's not forget Hyunjin. Hus rapping is so slick (smooth) and he is just a whole vibe. ANYWAYS, I enjoyed y'alls reaction so much. I cannot wait for you to get to Superbowl, Topline, Collision, and Youtiful. As for the version of Superbowl I think you should do the original English version first. Then the Japanese version. I didn't know there was a Korean version so I guess if there's that you can react to that. But thank you again for going through the boys discography. And I personally believe the boys deserve to be in the hall of fame. 🖤

Musically, I really love the way the sound builds and intensifies during Lee Know's verses after Han's rap - it sounds like the sound effect for a power-up or a special ability in-game, and it always raises the hairs on my arms a bit.

I love how each song on this album is a FLEX, without being assholish. It just IS for them. I cannot WAIT for you to listen to the rest of the album!!!

2023-08-23 20:34:23 +0000 UTCI'm commenting as I'm watching the video, but really, I had to laugh when you said that they will be soon part of the Hall of Fame, because yesterday it was announced that SKZ will perform at this year's MTV VMA, an award show where only BTS and Blackpink have ever performed, and this year is SKZ's year! Also, loved your reaction! I listed to item so many times, but I never noticed the coin sound, as well as some of the word play. I always love re-discovering my fav songs through your (educated) reactions

We are so used to seeing 3 Racha directing the whole recording that to us Stays it's become something normal, but I am really curious about your take on a "regular" recording session. For example, I remember that last month came out the behind the scene of a song recorded by ITZY, Stray Kids's sisters group, and JYP itself directed the recording. I remember seeing one of the members crying in the recording booth because of JYP's criticism/directing style and I was so puzzled to see that, because to me Chan, Han, and Changbin have always done an amazing job in cheering on the members while directing and I thought that that was how it was always supposed to be. That being said, I'll now dig into the ITEM reaction ;)

They don’t show all the songs, but you can see them working in the studio for S-Class, Item, Topline, and Youtiful. 2023-08-23 18:16:07 +0000 UTCLOVED this reaction- y’all hit on basically all of my favorite points. This song is probably my 2nd favorite off 5-Star, and it’s just…impeccable. As a gamer and a music fan, to hear those sounds interpolated so well…ahhhhhhh! Also I can’t get over how they brought back the motifs they used to build and build and build, with the rappers spitting fire on fire, only for everything to cut out for Felix to kill us all with a single “yeah, it’s my item.” Just such a good choice. I personally think this should’ve been the title track.
