[Tier 3] ATEEZ - Dancing Like Butterfly Wings

Oh well, what do you know. The PERFECT closing song to an album.

As we say in the video, we shot this RIGHT after reacting to Aurora, which means your explanations about how Aurora was a separate piece about concerts, fans, and all that are not yet registered. So do ignore our questioning in this video, but definitely enjoy our reaction to this crazy ending song :D

We loved it.

ENJOY! <3

This was an album that was so effortless to fall in love with, especially for its summer tropical/house vibes and sunshine-golden feel. I was going to write that we get to go back to the darker side with the next album, but then remembered the track list and I can' tactually say that. All to Action is the last of the Treasure series, and encompasses, for me, alllll the sounds of the era up to that point. It's the only full studio album (so far), and it really is the whole journey in an album. It's interesting that you talk about the musical journey and knowing they were capable of Hala Hala what seems like seconds into their discography, then comparing it to what we have in Bouncy and more recent songs, and it's just phenomenal that you can start with a Hala Hala and HAVE growth like we see from them. ATEEZ is that group where every time they come back you go, "this is it. Nothing's going to top..." and then they comeback with something mind-blowing and you need to remind yourself to stfu every time. Because yeah, they're gonna blow your mind. They're gonna release banger after banger. Their b-sides are gonna hit. Their videos are going to be incredible. It's why the announcement of any new comeback is so stupidly exciting. Looking forward to sharing the journey. Content note: There's an official video for If Without You, you'll want the ATEEZ official concert version for WIN (maybe in addition to lyrics) in the red jackets. There are lots of uploaded concert videos from professionally released concerts that have been posted on YT, but I'm not sure if using those appeals.

I am loving finding news songs with them because I didn't listen to allot of stuff in order!!

I love this reaction! Bizarrely, up until now, I actually somehow didn’t know that this song existed (Shame! Shame!) and I’m now..obsessed?? It is DEFINITELY an end-of-the-concert song to me; I can almost feel that sense of awe I always feel when I look around at all the confetti as it does its little twirly-twirl onto the hair of the concertgoers (ugh this song has me POETICAL). Also, as someone who has briefly tried to be religious on and off over the years (it’s never stuck, guess I’m too sinful Β―\_(ツ)_/Β― ) I was like YES when you mentioned connections between the music techniques being employed, a sense of freedom, and why CCM likes to use said techniques. Such a good example of how the actual sounds/chords are pivotal to the message of song and not just the lyrics , because like, this is God music we’re talking about. Also, Han, I feel like you said β€œyou know” a ton this reaction because I kept doing double takes. you know? Yunho? I know? Yunho? We know? Lee know?

When ATEEZ does sappy emotional songs, they do them so well. I'm not a ballad girl but even their ballads have that "edge" to them. There's something about them that makes them different. As far as HALATEEZ, they will be back in various forms. It's AMAZING the storyline they created and how it's so complex. Even if you pay attention to the lyrics, there's references to things they've talked about in the later albums. They're always referencing back and forth to these things of fire, breaking the wall, waking up...it's been trickled in through since the beginning. It's phenomenal how they do it. The Beginning of the End...I know you've already done Wonderland, but the Intro flows so perfectly into it (if you want to listen to it again.) It contains one of their most EPIC hype songs "WIN" which there are live stages to if you want to check out the choreography to it. It's insane. (And do not drive to this song...you're almost guaranteed a speeding ticket) but the album is really I feel more encouraging, laid back, cool, sometimes sexy vibe to it. That's the word... vibey. There are songs that are going to go in unexpected directions, but that's what makes them ATEEZ.
