I can't wait for y'all to get to Item, and collision! And Superbowl omg save your underwear for THAT song because y'all are gonna need it!

For ITEM, there isn't an official MV, but SKZ performed the song with a choreo at their fan meeting, as well as the K Global Heart Dream Awards, if you want to do a double reaction including the performance video! Here are a couple of links with good quality fancams: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ke4iZkjs180 (this is the best one) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EJ0ts3Sivo Next on the album will then be SUPER BOWL and it would be awesome if you could combine a reaction to the song from the 5 Star album, which is in 100% English and doesn't have an MV, and right after the Japanese version of Super Bowl, which does has an MV and it came out only a couple of days ago. I'd love to hear your take on how much the song changes from the English to the Japanese version, as well as your reaction to the Japanese MV!

The character of the whole song changed by the translation and I for one don’t get used to it. Funnily, Circus I prefer in the Japanese version it was released in first, but the difference is not as big between these versions as with superbowl. That’s at least my opinion. Or do both right after one another and compare for yourself?

For me, it's their most thematically and structurally complete album - the whole thing works so well when listened to in order, each song just leads naturally into the next in a way I haven't seen from them before. I really love ITEM and Topline in particular, but the whole thing is just incredible!

I love Hall of Fame, I dare to say is my favorite from this album, the first part with Seungmin and IN just keeps repeating in my head and the transitions between vocals and rap is flawless and and.... But yeah, as everyone is saying every song on this album is so different and amazing! It's really fun how every song is connected by space or videogame themes or words or vibe, I don't know how to explain it, but there is some consistency! Can't wait for ITEM, another great song. It doesn't have MV but it does have a very fun choreography, unfortunately there isn't an official video :( but there are some fancams on YouTube in case you're interested. Anyway thanks for the reaction as always!!!!!!

2023-08-13 03:34:53 +0000 UTCLoved this reaction! I agree, I feel like S-Class actually made more sense once I heard this as the opener. And you’re right! I didn’t realize just how much melody there is in this song until now. Love Bang Chan’s part and of course that gorgeous harmonization on Seungmin’s part (with himself? I think?). Also, a thought that just struck me? This song reminds me of how many an Act 1 Finale of a musical theatre show is structured- like, let’s go with the most famous example, “One Day More” from Les Miserables. It’s not exactly the same, but it’s like all of these little parts are introduced/teased, and they’re great on their own, but then there’s a climactic moment (Seungmin’s self-harmonization bridge here) where all of the puzzle pieces just come together to create this epic piece of work that you weren’t expecting even though you were being prepped for it the whole time.

ITEM is definitely my most listened to for this album along with Super Bowl. So good.
