Late to the party as usual but im so glad you loved this song! MIA is one of my favourite B side tracks SKZ has ever put out, and tbh it has a very similar vibe to collision from 5 star imo! the laid back, lo-fi, sexy undertones are so prevalent and its such a unique blend of that style with the signature SKZ flair and execution! Im so excited to continue seeing you fall more and more in love with SKZ every reaction!

But when you mentioned it's sexy, an unforgettable scene of their live performance popped out in my head... Hyunjin and Chan waving their body together...OMG, it's this song M.I.A!!!

2023-07-15 01:18:59 +0000 UTCM.I.A actually has a pretty straightforward meaning. Basically they are thinking about their old selves and are wondering where they are, hence M.I.A. It really drives the point home because in certain scenes they are singing to themselves and asking questions like "Where is your pretty smile?" and lots of statements about wanting to see you "their old selves" again. It's another pretty deep one when you really dive into it, but they make it so bouncy!

2023-07-14 06:41:24 +0000 UTCA few things the joke from D’some about we know Lee know is funny because Lee know used to do his intro as I know, you know, we know, Lee know and it became such a well known joke that in one of the songs you will eventually listen to while the other members in one line will say “we know, we know” when Lee know has that line he says “we know, Lee know” (I’m also super excited for you to react to that song because the actual track is sooo good but the way they play with the flow and the use of traditional korean folklore is really fun too). Second one thing about M.I.A that’s super fun when performed live is Felix used to do the Renegade (TikTok trend) to this song and it was always soo funny because you wouldn’t think it fits but it does. Third Awkward Silence is the song that got me into Stray Kids so it’s a song that I absolutely love and holds a special place in my heart the video is sooo funny too I can’t wait to see your reactions.

They talk about being awkward with someone else, that they cannot see the happiness anymore, they're worried about the other person, etc. I feel like they talk their younger selves. There are many interpretations that can come out from this song like: a relationship, a friendship, family, etc. This album is truly a masterpiece, top 3 for me! Can't wait for Awkward Silence and your reaction to the MV!!!! Thank yoooouuuuuuuu

I liked that it was turned up so high that there was no mistaking that it was intentional, b) definitely a b-side that reads like an a-side. I also agree about the lo-fi vibe- like I feel like this could’ve come out within the last 2 years at the peak of the Spotify Lo-Fi Beats to Study and Relax To craze
