They exceeded our expectation. We thought Tricky House would be the ultimate weapon they bring - but musically, even this intro dialogue piece and the first track are tough matches.

2023-07-14 17:45:36 +0000 UTCYou'll love the album, then, because Doorbell Ringing has been generally noted as the weakest of the [stupidly strong!] full tracks. Heh. Like their elder brothers, they have no-skip albums. I think the 'Doorbell Ringing' name is as an introduction to the group. We got a hint at their backstory in the explanation of who/what Tricky is in the first track, then we get the introduction to the group's sound in Doorbell. You'll see the huge changeup in the switch that is Dynamic, leading to Rockstar (the MV is so good!) as the second title track. Xikey and Oh My Gosh round out the intro, and show us what we have to look forward to. They're already giving us photo teasers for the comeback, and I'm super excited to see how they go!

Also, yes, Yechan's rapping is incredible and he has a unique voice too. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys react to the rest of album! Also Xikers is lucky to have ATEEZ to help them out and guide them

Their producing group is called Edenary and our ATEEZ’s captain HONGJOONG is also one of the producers. Hehe. Please listen to their other song ROCKSTAR. That song has a MV and really shows their vocal flavors!!! ❤️ And from the bottom of my heart, thank you for reacting to ATEEZ and XIKERS!!! Both of them came from a relatively unknown and small agency called KQ. So im really happy to see reactors experiencing and seeing their out of this world talents!!!

2023-07-12 16:23:09 +0000 UTCI giggled a bit when you mentioned Ateez as they are definitely their little brothers and it shows a lot in their performances. You mentioned producers, and actually HongJoong had a hand in producing/writing almost every track on their album. I started off just supporting them because they were KQ and as an Atiny I felt I should. However, when they debuted and I heard the album and saw the concept, I fell in love with them for just being them and their music is just fire. I love that you’re reacting to them and I appreciate the insight you give into the concept/lore/trickster elements to them.

2023-07-12 10:24:21 +0000 UTCI suspect they landed on "Tricky" because the Korean Dokkaebi seems to overlap with various "Trickster" characters in many cultures. The word "goblin" is always negative in English, but "Trickster" figures are not good or evil, they just exist as agents of chaos. They may hurt you or help you, you never know. Every culture has them, it's fascinating. It's possible that the next comeback will be more on the "good" or "sweet" side of things, since this one was so VERY Tricky! And just so that you are not lost, Xikers introduced an actual animated character call "Tricky", who follows them around on their adventures. He looks like an adorable blob wearing a hoodie, and there is currently a giant 20 foot tall blow up balloon of him floating above KQ headquarters. With no explanation. Like, in real life, check their youtube shorts. Because KQ promotes in THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE lollllll. Someone (the eye in the mv's) has "stolen their dream", and we're not sure yet where Tricky fits in. There's short animated clips on their Youtube channel that show Tricky being bored at home and causing mischief in an effort to get someone to play with him...until one day, someone literally Rings The Doorbell of Tricky's house...and Xikers walk in.

He has one of those distinctive voices (think Haechan from NCT, I.N from Stray Kids, Hanse from Victon) and to top it off, he's the maknae! He is part of the rap line (obviously) along with Minjae (the leader) and Sumin. This whole album is a damn rollercoaster - you're gonna go from hard beats to beautiful harmonies to tempo switch-ups all over the place - and it just WORKS. For a debut album, I was thoroughly impressed and I am very excited to see your takes on it.
