Oh thank you everyone who has recommended us Xikers because....we had too much fun with this one - the fact that they used 도깨비 (Korean goblin) as their main theme already makes us drool. All in. Let's keep this going.

Plus Korean fans and reactors like you keep us informed about the small details about the goblin lore and symbolism :P If there's something we don't understand, we persist until we do! lol And thank you for the detail that they incorporated an already existing "goblin song" into the middle! xikers is brand new, and only has 2 singles/MV's released (Tricky House and Rockstar), and one album. The album is short but it is FIRE, and Hongjoong was a big contributor to writing it. Somehow you already noticed that they are very flexible in their roles. The have many vocalists, but the vocal line heavily overlaps with the dance line, one member both raps and sings, all three rappers are incredible dancers, and the Leader is a main rapper but sings amazingly with his distinctive low voice on almost every track. I'm convinced that KQ observed them as a group and their dynamics and then came to the natural conclusion that they are tricky goblins. :P Never one thing, always unexpected. They are heavy into complex lore already, with their intro being "boys who travel through infinite time and coordinates". The name "xikers" comes from "x" like coordinates (and also "x marks the spot" and also x is the roman numeral for 10 (10 members)". The rest of the name coms from "hikers", as they go in search of something. Please at least react to "Rockstar" and "Xikey" (the first is fantastic, and the second is incredibly hard hitting and original in sound and feel). But really, can you react to the whole album so we can be properly prepared for their comeback? It's just one album, and it's short, I have faith in you! When it dropped I kept thinking "Handsome Sausages would be so interested in these SOUNDS!"

The whole thing is fire with no skips. And like Ateez, they also have predebut videos under KQ Fellaz 2. Thank you for taking the time to check them out. They definitely deserve it. Just like with Ateez, I’m a sucker for all things lore so the extra details about dokkaebi is appreciated. 🩶
