Well hey, it's a great thing that you missed it BECAUSE we put out so much content :D That's a good news if you ask us! So thanks for checking it out and giving your cool thoughts! We also definitely think there are some great touches here that paved the way for other artists, and we cannot appreciate the 'actually good' use of traditional sounds enough. Like we say, it can so easily get used in a horrible way and not do it justice, so we really like what Agust D has done here!!

2023-07-12 01:09:26 +0000 UTCI have been meaning to get around to watching this reaction because I LOVE this song but y’all have been putting out so much great content I just got to it now! 1) As usual,loved and appreciated your reaction- a classic never dies, who cares when it’s fully delved into! 2) Yesss he really nailed the historical influences in this, both musically and visually, and I feel like that wasn’t being done as much then as it is now (not that it’s being done like, CRAZY much now, but I remember my mind being blown by this in 2020). The music, set dressing, and costumes were historically meticulous, and when they were “off,” they were meticulously intentionally off, and as a Big Nerd I appreciated that so much, 3) as y’all probably know by now I’m a huge Stay- I feel like Daechwita laid the groundwork for an M/V concept like Thunderous, and I’m sure that Agust D’s whisper/laid-back mumble flow influenced a lot of rappers to play around a bit, and I personally hear that type of influence in Hyunjin’s “pew pew pew- hey spider…” rap in Venom. Point is, thank you Agust D and Daechwita for potentially laying some groundwork for my faves! 4) Another video I didn’t get to right away, another shoutout I missed! This always happens! I gotta clear my Handsome Sausages video backlog. 🫶🏻 y’all!

They did it during a Covid concert and it’s always fun to see the vocal line rap and Jin gets back at JK for hitting him in the video all while Suga sits on his throne and watches. Just recently saw his NYC concert and literally blown away by his entire solo persona and stage show away from BTS. I mean I’m ARMY, I’m STAY, I’m ATINY, I’m a 감자핫도그 or Sausages (?have you named your fan base yet?…wait…you should give us an official name)…I digress…total multi-stan but Agust D’s music is not to be missed. (And now I’m craving a Korean Potato Mozz Dog)

Like it’s said before you should definitely react to Haegeum and then Amygdala as it’s a trilogy of MVs that should be watched together to understand what is happening. Fun fact about this MV, the two fighting in the village in the beginning (around the 1:00 mark) are actually Jin and JungKook. That always makes me giggle. Anyways, love your reactions and thank you again! ❤️

I know you guys have a lot on your plate with following a bunch of different groups (Stray Kids is my favorite kpop group), but you should definitely check out Agust D's other works -- he is an amazing producer.
