The stage performance for Desire is so... hard-hitting with the vocals, especially those lines at the end. I'm all for lyric videos, but there's some context missed because of incredible choreography and insane live vocals. Maybe something to add to your review mix? Looking forward to the next!

2023-06-22 18:42:57 +0000 UTCThey weren’t taking about a s*xual experience, but it kind of felt that way. I love how he went “ewww” but in a good way. Their Treasure series is all about the journey, the desire of what you want and how it changes you along the way. Light is one of fans favorite b-sides that they performed at the last tour bc they knew fans wanted to see it live. One of their best early vocal songs. The Fever series is a “different” ATEEZ sound and story line, but it still sounds like them. The World Series, wow, will completely blow you away. The production of the Outlaw album is unlike anything I’ve heard before. Every listen, you find something new in the layering. One thing you will notice will all their songs is how all the lyrics relate to each other back and forth. There’s always this “fire burning”, later you will see references to the Desert and breaking walls. I highly recommend checking out some of the fan lore videos and I feel like it will help explain a lot of it. Bookish Theories and Eterniteez are two of the best I’ve seen. But I highly recommend that you check out the trailers that they release before, and after the albums, because they all ties to the storyline.

2023-06-22 16:16:30 +0000 UTCAhahahha, so fun to see you spinning down the paranoid rabbit hole of Ateez lore. "Light! What kind of light? What does it MEAN". Bahahaha. And no matter how sharp and paranoid and alert we are....we never catch it all. Just discovered that 6 months ago, they referenced their current comeback in about 7 different ways that went completely over our heads. It only makes sense now if you go back and watch those appearances. Also, they are spoiling their next comeback right now, but we aren't quiiiite sure what it means! I was so looking forward to your reaction to Desire because of the unusual structure and how it ties into the subject. All build, no resolution. All rise, no drop. The essence of Desire. It's so interesting!! Classical Musicians React did a video on it that went into depth about it, it was fascinating. Wonderful reaction as always, your perspective is so unique and interesting and satisfying to watch.
