Doodle got us wrecked and into a coma; we're now in a hospital, desperately trying to come back, as Hyunjin comes down from the heaven gently flashing our lives before our eyes.
Then we got Han with Run, and the story shall continue however that song goes. :).....this is wild.

i know this is an old post, but i just wanna comment that, this. this is why i especially love hyunjin’s songs. everything he writes!they have a feel that’s just 👩🏽🍳😘

Take your time. You can't rush perfection like Run, Maknae on Top and Up All Night...but also 5 Star is so good and we can't wait for you to get there!

The ad-libs and the swelling of the music, with the guitar and the samples, gave it such an ethereal, nostalgic vibe that suited the lyrics so beautifully! I'm so glad hyunjin also got the chance to show how incredible his solo voice and style is!

Then I was surprised about the lyrics (after finding the right english translation). What a dramatic and artistic writing! Lyrics itself dive into the darkness and draws the clear image with his art experience... My favorite part is the line about pastel colors mixed together. For me, I interpret that this song can be about his past and self esteem, or some beloved one, or someone who passed away. Yeah, same as you analyzed, When the music, vocal, and lyrics combined together, this song gave another result. So creative.

2023-05-30 07:47:53 +0000 UTCI love this song because it finally got to show off what a hopeless romantic Hyunjin is- the dude wants to sing about love, whether it’s about a lover or family member or his past self or whoever, which completely fits with his personality. I also love that he got to sing! Y’all talked about this but the song is just evocative. Fun fact: I saw him perform this live in LA at the very last show of the Maniac tour, and even though they only sing abbreviated versions, Changbin, Han, & Felix told the band to keep playing so Hyunjin had to keep singing while laughing Fun Fact 2: for an EMBARRASSINGLY long period of time I thought, when he was repeating “Neol wihae,” that he was saying “nowhere” but just said it weird because he’s always hanging out with 2 Aussies

2023-05-30 02:04:58 +0000 UTCLyrics: Hyunjin Composition: Hyunjin, Bang Chan Arrangement: Bang Chan, Nickko Young Hyunjin has said that he and Bang Chan have similar tastes in music - Hyunjin has often asked Chan for a beat based on a certain idea, sound, or artist they admire. Not sure about the story origin of this song, but Hyunjin has written another song called Miss You (originally called Little Star) which is also on this album. The song was written for his first dog that unfortunately passed away very young. I find his lyrics to be "emotionally present" and speak to that internal dialogue we have with ourselves when we are processing big feelings. Similar to Hyunjin's song, HAN's song "Run" was written a few years ago before it was added to this album with lyrics unchanged from when they were first written.

2023-05-30 01:08:46 +0000 UTCFor this song, what gets me are the lyrics. I know there's a language barrier but I honestly that never stopped me from connecting with the music and the lyrics. As you guys mentioned, it could be a lover or his past self or a friend and that's actually something that Stray Kids want to achieve: to give your own meaning. For me, it's about friendship and past self. Thank you so much for the video, cannot wait for Hanji's one!!!

Also, as you've got Han's song coming up next, I feel moved to express how I excited I am for you to eventually listen to his solo song, Volcano!
