😂 your reactions to this one were great!! one of the first things i clicked with about their sound (besides the wild punky rock vibe) was their vocals, jooyeon’s especially, but all of them just hit me the right way! (maybe it’s the way they mix it? i don’t know much about that but i learn bits from you guys constantly!)

Jooyeon’s vocals in the chorus almost has a Coheed and Cambria sound.

This is definitely one of those songs I sing in my car and pretend I can hit every note. I can't...but no one will ever know!

ShawnyJ

Handsome Sausages

I think going in order is a good idea! Their whole discography is amazing. I think y’all should check out their covers as well though!

I REALLY like these guys!!! I think your gonna like them a lot. I’m really excited to see them grow. I think the keyboard and synth are such a great touch to keep them a little more funky but they still go hard. Here for the ride too!!

Nova

Hope you guys can check out their song ‘Haircut’ it’s one of my favorite songs right now!

Maak Bates

Hope you can check how they've performed it live 🙏🏼 so excited until you reached their Deadlock mini album and hear "Good enough" 😍

Members: Gun-il: Leader, Drums (went to Berklee College of Music) Jungsu (blonde hair): Keyboard, Main Vocalist Gaon (blue/pink hair): Rhythm Guitar, Rapper, Vocals O.de (orange hair): Synth Keyboard, Rapper, Vocals Jun Han (black hair): Lead Guitar Jooyeon (black with blonde hair): Maknae, Bass, Main Vocalist They hit the ground running with their music and definitely are pushing away from the standard k-band style. Similar to their big bro groups Day6 and Stray Kids, they have a lot of writing production freedom in their music. Jungsu has the most credits at the moment, with Gaon, O.de, and Jooyeon close behind. Jooyeon recently stopped by an episode of Chan's Room (Bang Chan of Stray Kids) for a brief moment. When asked about it later, he mentioned that he actually hangs out in there a lot when Chan is working on songs. Gun-il especially, but all the members of XH are big Stays. Their cover of Hellevator is amazing. O.de is also a big fan of Day6 and recently, Gun-il and YoungK from Day6 wrote the lyrics to the XH song "Good Enough". Very different than their other works but I think vocally some of their strongest material to date.

Ah! The boys are back! So, once you get into the lyrics you'll realized that Strawberry Cake refers to people who appear sweet (like cake) but turn out to be liars a "sweet type of fake" says the lyrics. Xdinary is going to surprise you just like Stray Kids. Every song has a different sound, but you KNOW it's them. As for vocals, the two that passed the lyrics between them during the chorus are Jooyeon (maknae, black and white long hair) and Jungsu (short-ish, blond hair). To me, Jooyeon's vocals fit "band music" the best; he has a "rock" sound that just comes naturally, but he's also got a helluva range (which you'll definitely notice as you go further). Jungsu has a very distinctive voice that you can pick out of just about any lineup - but it can both perfectly contrast and support Jooyeon's tone no matter the situation. While you really can listen to their discography in any order, they're most recent album seems to have the most variety, maturity, and (for me) nostalgic sound - so it might be best to save it for last, but of course, you do what you feel is best (I know a lot of folks have been bringing up "Good Enough" and it is damn good, but such a whiplash from their sound that you may want to go ahead and get to that one early - you'll also really gain an appreciate for their actual vocals without the distraction (and I mean this in a good way) of the instrumentals.

I clicked so fast when I saw the notification!
