Hahaha we knew you'd say that too! NJ is probably the best group to have that concept and pull it off so beautifully. They're one of our favourites at the moment in terms of music production and, well everything,... it's just...bahhh so good.

2023-04-25 16:48:36 +0000 UTCComma? Really?! Y'all are too much! (ʘᴗʘ✿). But you kind of hit the nail on the head with the decade that you could "hear" and were referring to. New Jeans has a Y2k "concept', so there is a lot of that era's simplicity in it. It is one of the reasons why a lot of folks consider that era the peak of pop. However, they've included a lot of the " new" techniques (dissonance between vocal and backing, blending of major and minor scales, etc) which also keeps it "relevant". Even though I've never purposely played one of their tracks, I know all their title tracks because they came on scene and TOOK OVER! From what I've heard, I think you'll like them and if you decide to dive into them further, I'll enjoy the ride!
