[Tier 3] TXT - Lollapalooza Concert
Added 2023-04-13 19:52:29 +0000 UTCHere's our full 30 minute long reaction to TXT's LIVE Lollapalooza performance video! This was an absolute killer - we had so much fun, and it genuinely felt like we are at a concert. With summer coming, it really made us want to go out and enjoy some quality concerts.
(Is TXT or any other groups we follow ever planning to tour in Canada...?)
We wouldn't have been able to react to this one if it weren't for you all, so thank you, and we hope you'll enjoy this ride with us!
Love.

2023-10-02 23:34:59 +0000 UTCAlso for encore: unfortunately the timing on sets is very very strict as other performances start on different stages. Generally there are 2 headliner stages and about 4 other performances stages across 319 acres of land. Equipped with food stalls. People spend the entire day there listening to one artist after another. Part of the reason why performance times are so tight as people start making their way to the next stage for the next performance. This year I saw the Rose but they had technical difficulties but they had to end on time so they had to cut one song.

2023-09-30 01:05:43 +0000 UTCI was at this show! I was fairly close to the front, but due to the flat ground, no video screens and me being short, I couldn’t see them at all. But man, they sounded great! And the next day, Beomgyu’s face took up half the front page of the Chicago newspaper for a story on them making history as the first Korean act at the festival. I was also there the next day to see Jhope become the first Korean headliner. I strongly recommend you watch Hobi’s Lollapalooza performance. It was epic.

2023-04-25 16:38:16 +0000 UTCWow this makes so much sense - no way they just 'learned' in Korea. Absolutely felt like more than that, even if that means living abroad for a very brief period when young!

2023-04-25 16:37:41 +0000 UTCIf you thought TXT's performance was epic at Lollapalooza then wait till you see J-Hopes!!! Hobie had the highest turnout in Lollapalooza HISTORY and he deserved it! I watched all of their performances live on Hulu and I'm so freaking proud and happy at the turnout for 2 of my favorite Korean artists! I'm so happy that Korean talent is spreading worldwide because they deserve the recognition! I just went to a concert of my ult ult ult favorite group StrayKids in Atlanta last month and it was one of the best experiences of my life! Korean artists are truly incredible and deserve worldwide recognition.

2023-04-22 07:54:28 +0000 UTCI love when people pick up on how good txt’s English is! All of them speak English well, Yeonjun being the best at it. Yeonjun lived in California for 2 years when he was around 9 years old I believe (Moa are welcome to correct me on that if I’m wrong) and has kept his amazing English skills since then! He also has family that still live in the US and probably speaks to his cousins in English as I would assume their first language would be English and their second would be Korean due to living in the US. I would say the next best English speaker is Taehyun! Taehyun used to create small educational YouTube videos encouraging kids to learn English when he was a child and has managed to keep a lot of his skills, he is not as fluent as yeonjun but he definitely can hold a solid conversation in English without panicking. Kai although being born in Hawaii and having family that speak English … kai is probably 3rd in terms of English skills. This is because he moved around a lot when he was a child and has spent most of his life either in China or Korea, he’s mention before that he finds it difficult to remember certain words or phrases (not surprising considering the boy speaks more than 3 languages). I would say beomgyu and Soobin are relatively level in terms of the amount of English they know but beomgyu’s confidence in saying lots of English phrases makes him seem a little better than soobin. These two are in no way bad at English, they just aren’t as fluent as Yeonjun. That being said TXT are probably, alongside SKZ, the Kpop group with the best English skills overall.

2023-04-17 04:43:35 +0000 UTCLet me give some backstory for Lollapalooza. Lollapalooza often called Lolla is a 4 day music festival and is the biggest festival in Chicago. Last summer TXT and J-Hope were the first K-pop idols to perform Lolla and J-hope was the first k-pop headliner. They absolutely killed it last year and now in August 2023 TXT is one of the headliners and this years line up has more Korean/K-pop artists than last year. This year we have TXT, NewJeans, The Rose, and DPR Live and DPR Ian all performing at lollapalooza. I’m literally so excited for this years line up.

2023-04-13 20:21:27 +0000 UTC😂 mhm. Not asking for a reaction. Just putting it on your radar. And to comment on the content of this video Kai, his dad is a German raised in the US. Sorta raised with both korean and English. But all of them from what I’ve noticed talk a lot of English to one another so much their accents barely register now.
