To Patreon or Not To Patreon...
Added 2024-06-13 00:19:18 +0000 UTCThis thought has been swirling around in this brain of mine for awhile. Do I continue doing Patreon, offering new or exclusive art to patrons each month or do I hang up the cape and just start posting ALL the art publicly?
I never expected to gain fame and glory for the type of work I do. Nor do I sit around and start begging everyone for money. I'm grateful for anyone, paid patron or not, who has shown support over the years on any social media platform.
But, the struggle lately, between a full-time job, commissions and Patreon work...trying to dedicate time equally among them (except the day job), and then wanting to start streaming again. There's been quite a disturbance in the dungeon...
I wouldn't stop doing art, that will never change, but does everything I do have to be behind a subscribe-style paywall? Should I just post whatever art I want at any time without any limitations?
