How To Graph Trigonometric Functions

This trigonometry video tutorial explains how to graph sine and cosine functions using transformations, horizontal shifts / phase shifts, vertical shifts, amplitude, and the period of the sinusoidal function.  It also explains how to graph secant, cosecant, cotangent, and tangent functions as well as the inverse sine, cosine, and tangent function.  It explains how to find the domain and range of these functions as well as how to write a trigonometric function given the graph.

The midpoint is equivalent to y=D, refer to the general form of the sin/cos functions to find out what D is.

on a graph wouldnt it just be the middle between the too ranges but if theres no equation or graph its impossible

I have a question i know this is an old video but how do you determine what the midpoint is without knowing. Is there a formula?
