hiii! when writing the equations for the ellipses, u made a mistake :) it should be (x-h)^2/a^2 + (y-k)^2/b^2 this one is for the horizonal ellipse. (x-h)^2/b^2 + (y-k)^2/a^2 this one is for the vertical oneee
