Awesome new status screen, done by Eldrik. Obviously we'll fill the empty spaces with info and characters, but.. that is some heavy duty programming work. Can't give you a definite date for the status screen update, and it may well change in the final version, but still wanted to share.
Actually, if we implement the status screen now, or in three months is not so important, the sprites will be the exponential work to add, but can't help it. I'll prolly work on tier 6 as soon as we have the sprites, you can just do more with 'em.
this status screen is a picture, behind wich we will put the current character, and above the game logo, thats what the black spaces are for.

That's because the status menu is tied into the core foundations of the game mechanics. It's always a pain the *** to lay the groundwork but once you have it down you can build on it later. It's probably for the best that you're tying that in now before you get much deeper in the game.
And also if you can get it to be somewhat less glitchy with the current image of our MC in all her glory. I didn't look yet at the status screen on this .20 release but I know in the previous release that her picture seems to sit on a layer above the status text which means that she hides part of the status screen readout. You might want to dedicate a portion of that status screen for the spot where you're going to have the character full body portraits just in case the game forces those types of images onto a layer that is higher drawn after the lower layers which means it's on top.

We're not sure yet, whatever functions better programming wise, but this may well be the first of two or three versions of the status screen, pending how it looks and works ingame. It will take some time to implement, exspecially if we want to do more with the next release then just getting the status screen in(wich we do), to give a comparison of magnitudes scripting wise without boring you with technical details, rewriting the game interface to this magnitude is about equivalent to adding an area like Grayholme all over again, at the least.

Anotherwords the status screen doesn't function as of yet. I do like the appearance though. It is easier to read in that graphical color range format. Will it use a cursor or will the color band shift to indicate where you're stat is sitting on the range?
