Public Beta Testing: v3.5 Release Candidate
Added 2020-07-09 18:12:21 +0000 UTC3.5 includes a public beta testing period before the official release. So, here are the links for those wanting to help beta-test this version (or just really impatient). No previous beta testing experience is required - it's as simple as playing the game normally and report any bugs you encounter.
- 3.5 Release Candidate 1 64-bit Update Only (requires v3.0 Stable or later)
- 3.5 Stable Release Candidate 1 64-bit Full
The beta testing period will last around 36 hours, aiming for official release of v3.5 (which will include the rest of the platforms and mirrors of course) before Saturday, 11 July.
My preferred channel to receive bug reports from beta testers is via Discord. But a reply here would do too.
If you're not interested in beta-testing the game and are not super impatient to try out the new content in this version, it's recommended to just wait a bit more for the final v3.5 releases.
Thank you for all your help!
Change Log:
- Animations for working and being served at the different types of establishments in the game
- AI behavior improvements so that NPCs play the correct animation with the correct objects depending on whether they're at the current location because they work there or simply are customers.
- Animations for some common actions described in scenes (like fighting, shooting, messing around before sex, etc) to make scenes more lively, instead of relying so much on text and ask the player to imagine the action going on while the characters just stand there awkwardly.
- Modify existing scene scripts to use these new scene-specific animations
- Improve the character skin shader for more detailed and realistic-looking skin, most noticeable when zoomed in. Special thanks to Semaj, another game dev who was kind enough to share with me their own experience working with Daz and Unreal Engine 4.
- A few new erotic description lines written by EtB for the Transformation start
- Bug fixes and other improvements
