Seasonal Teaser Chapter Question

Hey all! So I recently sat down and worked out my schedule for the rest of the year for my Patreon preview chapters and I realized something as a result of my new writing schedule. I'm going to be a bit ahead of the ball around Christmas, to the point that you Patreons will likely be getting about 90% of the book on early release and be seeing teaser chapters for the better part of 2-3 months. Now, I have no problem with that, but I was curious about something:
Would you like things to remain as they are and get the bulk of a book (the one in question would be Steelforged Legacy 5) or would you prefer some seasonal short stories and adventures? It'd be extra work to get these out while I'm writing the other books and keeping up, but I think I can swing it.

And when I say seasonal stuff, I mean thematic seasonal shorts, around 4-8k words, for the different series that I run. Stuff like: Ski-lodge Shenanigans with the SMG Girls. Winter Hotsprings trip with Arsenal. Koda and the girls building Snow-beastfolk and telling stories (maybe Samira cheating at snowball fights with water magic). New Years and the 13 Wishes ceremony with Casey and Maude. Different takes on New Years, Longnight, or Solstice events from the different settings perhaps. Or maybe just the sevrax getting to experience snow for the first time ever.

I do not intend to write up different versions of a themed 'Christmas' event, but instead 'what kind of cute, seasonal mischief' would a given group get up to?
If we end up going with the Seasonal Fun Adventures options, I'll run a second poll to see what folks are the most interested in to know where to start.

(NOTE - SMG advance chapters would continue, this would just be in place of the 'new book release' teasers for a few weeks as a change of pace around the season.
This poll runs till 10/7!

Ok so maybe a mash over where someone gets stuck over from another story and it take the whole team to get them back maybe they each have a member a world removed and the trick is figuring out how to bring them all back!!!

Yeah, it's something I've wanted to do as extra flavor since last year, it's just been hard finding the time with as stocked as my schedule is trying to rotate through 4 series and keep up with the release schedules. I'm not quite big enough to be able to let six months pass between books and hope I don't lose readers. Thankfully, now that I'm starting to slow down some I can considering doing more fun sidestories like this.

Whether it's seasonal content or not, I love little side story content that is randomly given out outside of whatever you are normally working on. It's never expected but it's always a little surprise treat when you get it. I'm not an author but I could imagine that it can also be like a little bit of a pallet cleanser if you've been working on one thing for a long time and would like to do something else for alittle while.

Ope 'scuse me
