Agree with this 100% and I also like the model but yes, it screams for context in how you display it or else you will get nothing but creepy comments. My thought would be Joker but Harley Quinn or Poison Ivy would work also.

Perhaps she was captured by Bane, being held in a pitch black warehouse, with a single spotlight shining down on her to entice Bats to come rescue her. He's looking down from above, knowing it's a trap, but has no choice but to go get her. It's whatever we want our imagination to run wild with.

2025-01-20 01:22:33 +0000 UTCTl;dr: I like the pose for imaginations sake, nothing more nothing less. You build the context. Others may or may not the pose, for this reason or that. For one, get yall's mind out of the gutter... But as far as being out of context, you build the context by positioning another statue nearby. Another hero nearby.... say the big bat himself, one might imply and and reinforce the kinky aspect. But if say the Joker pointing a firearm at her, or say Jinx with her bat/club. Not that Jinx is necessarily a villain, more vigilante and misguided antihero. Addressing the non-DC nature of Jinx in a minute. But this pose gives you the opportunity to let your imagination fly. And the because she's by herself gives you more flex in what you want the context to be. Whether you want strictly DC (Joker), want to use a Marvel villain (Thanos), or go off the wall and use villains from completely unrelated media (Jinx)... Shoot if you wanted have Baymax join up with Goku, and rescue Batgirl, by all means do it!

I don't see a reason for a hero to be diminished unless there's a larger diorama showing the villain responsible at least. Her alone on a simple base gives zero contexts, and just feels defeating and sad. I can't see why anyone would enjoy that energy displayed anywhere in their home or office. As always though, the sculpt is impeccable!
