2024-08-18 18:12:56 +0000 UTCCouldn't agree more. I'm surprised how poorly pinup style suits her (well, the 90s movie version of her that I can't help but think of as the 'real' one) considering just how smutty the original manga was. I would not be able to ID #4 as Kusanagi without a label.

You can count on one hand the number of times the Major has smiled/smirked through the movie and SAC, not only that but it looks like she's posing like a pin-up girl, which goes against everything the entire series is about. Internal beauty, what is consciousness, etc. I also agree with Greg, she should be sculpted with the sub-gun used on the spider tank in the original movie. Also, four's breasts are too large, which very well may be why that source is winning.
